ok bes the trick is to unlock the classic teams and players
once you have done that register them all in their national teams
so you have paolo rossi,tardelli,baresi...etc in italy
pele up front with ronaldo for brazil
cruyff,rijkaard + gullit in holland
platini,cantona with trez and henry
maradona,batigol and de stefano

play 20 minute matches and watch the goals fly in

oh yeah and learn how to-
a. chip the advancing keeper by pressing L1 as you shoot, takes a bit to master
b. when 1-on-1 with the keeper, press shoot then x and a direction L or R of the keeper, you will fake to shoot and go round the keeper leaving you free to roll the ball into the empty net
c. when taking a corner get your most accurate taker,if he is right footed and playing an inswinger point himto the edge of the box, press o half way and hold left on the controller. this will swing the ball in for your forwards to run onto. if its an outswinger point him to the goalline and again press o half way and hold left for and outswinging corner. this takes a wee bit of practice but is deadly as hell when it is done correctly

i realised that you can create lots of boots including the nike mercurial vapours, ng the boot edit and creating them, using the option 5 gives u the nike vapours, u cna also add the adidas stripes on teh teams which should have that, nad have the nike layout for teams such as brazil

I have this game for PC, and it sucks so hard. I know it's a great game on PS2 and Xbox, but on the PC it's really SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!

I shouldn't complain since I got the game for free, though.
Just so you all know and won't go and buy it for the PC.

Who plays the master league in this game?

Anyway, not important. Do people who play this game in any sort of league format (preferably ML) find the computer sorta awards themselves wins on occassion?

I know its supposed to be realistic and anything can happen in football, but listen to this:

Semi final of the WEFA cup. My squad (triangle FC) vs Juventus. 1-1 and its my away goal, now its the second leg

I completely rape juve all over the field, and eventually I get a penalty.

Buffon saves it. crap I think.

Anyway, the match climaxes into juve throwing on trezugeut and playing a 3 man defence. But I swear, shot after shot was saved by buffon. It was getting ridiculous, but nevermind, I was going through.

Juve then score on the 88th minute. I go bonkers.

I then look at the match stats in disgust: 55-45 possesion for me, and most amazingly of all, 10 shots on target and 14 shot in the space of a 10 minute match. Whilst I can concede 1 or two might of been the odd longer shot, most were '100%' chances.

And the scorer of the Juve goal? Sculli, who outpaced Maldini and Heitinga and beat a keeper with a shot roughly 23 metres out who was not only in orange arrow form, but had 93 on keeping skills. Trez or Mutu, ok, DP or Zlatan I can buy, but Sculli??

Oh yeah juve shot statistics: 1 on target, one shot.

Who has had similar things happening to you? This is probably the most extreme case in many matches I would call ' computer awarded ' wins or draws. Sour grapes you could say, but this is one massive weakness about the game.

I don't play that one, but I'm all to familiar with that kind fo thing. Older versions of CM were notorious for opposing goalkeepers playing out of their skin to see you lose 1-0 in spite of having 20 shots on target to your opponent's 2.

It happens in real life too though. It's not easy to think of good examples, but the FA Cup final the year Liverpool won a plastic treble was stolen from an otherwise rampant Arsenal. Or how about Man Utd's dramatic last minute equaliser against Bayern in the '99 CL final? There's even the story of the goalkeeper who kept his team in the English league by scoring a last minute equaliser after coming up for a corner (Glass?). Anyway, everyone will have a few examples of their own.

happens so much i nearly broke a controller. what really annoys me is if you are winning and through on goal the opponents can foul you from behind, last man and all,you get no free kick, they go up field win a 50-50 challenge and the ref books you,you intercept the ball and he gives them a free kick, you win a tackle and they get a penalty, they clean you out and you get nothing.

Somehow that doesn't even come close to Italy-South Korea. Reality is still so much worse :D.
