I don't buy neither game regularly enough to comment. But my perception has always been that PES has the better gameplay while FIFA has the better graphics.

Btw, i was playing FIFA at a friends yesterday, and i just can't figure that shit out. Is it just me, or is it virtually impossible to dribble past defenders?

I think thats a lot better than what i'm used to in PES though, where you can dribble the whole opposition team with players like Henry, Messi and Ronaldo.

PES has the balance right with taking players on this year, EA should keep their crazy skill moves for FIFA Street, doing stepovers with Sol Campbell is not realistic.

But in PES they won't be effective. Try dribbling someone with a stepover using John Terry in PES. If you're playing against someone thats good, it will never work.

I was doing skills past defenders on the PES demo with Victor Valdes perhaps this is only in the Demo and it may have changed in the final game? :boh:

I find, at least for me, skill moves never work. I prefer to just time my runs, or at the right moment push the ball a little further ahead and beat them with pace.

Thats the most annoying thing about PES. Thats why you should buy pirated versions that are edited

But theres no more of those in PS3

Answer my own question:

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH today announced the content of its first DLC for PES 2011, which will be available on 12th October.

Available free to PlayStation(R)3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD users, the download will bring the player roster files completely up to date, while clubs that qualified for the UEFA Champions League Group Round, will be added to the game’s dedicated mode. A number of team kits have also been updated in line with their current use, and four more licensed boots have been incorporated.

The DLC also includes three new wallpapers featuring cover star Lionel Messi in the 'Extra Content’ folder, and KONAMI will be releasing further updates during the coming year.
