Yeah, very interesting and a few valid points. Perhaps the plane was actually shot down by the US Air Force but they tried to cover it up.

This little clip lost all it's validity as far as I'm concerned when they tried to persuade people that a hole in the wall created by rescuers was that of a missile and not a 757. The hole clearly stated "PUNCH OUT" right next to it, an indication that the hole was "punched out" by rescuers. We are not that dumb.

Well, the plane that crashed in Western Pennsylvania was rumored to be shot down as well...no cover up there. And besides, if they wanted to cover up the incident they could just concoct some story about people on board destroying the plane...much easier than flying a missile into the side of the Pentagon with cameras in every angle.

Would like to see some of those tapes though.

Conspiracy theorists must have such unfulfilling lives. Anything caused by incompetence gets elevated to some grand, devious plan.

I don't even comprehend how these people can stay in touch with their own families and friends, let alone find and hold a marriage together. Any window for doubt would be conceived as deliberate malice.

UFOs from Area 51 that got loose? :D

Seriously. I've seen things like this hundreds of times before. Of course they construct it to look like a mystery/conspiracy, neglecting any facts that might indicate otherwise.

It's just another case of one-sided journalistic bias -- like the kind that will want you to believe that every time Capello has a bowel movement, it's intended as a personal insult to Del Piero.

I've seen many others just like you, but you can see right through way easier than this one...this presentation seems solid to me and the facts much more convincing. I do know the type you're talking about, but this to me just doesn't seem to fit the bill. Keep in mind I'm no fan of conspiracy theories, but I definitely will not dismiss any of them without hearing its case.

Nice :D

The question isn't in what they are presenting, it's in what they aren't presenting.

It's no question that a healthy dose of skepticism is good. There are a lot of things that go on in the U.S. that I certainly take at face value. :D

I just find it incredulous that some guy with a Web page and some Flash skills suddenly comes up with a theory that all the major media companies around the world, and all the world's bloggers, just somehow otherwise missed.

What they're not presenting? How about what the FBI is not presenting...like those surveillance tapes confiscated.

This theory isn't new...it's been around for a while. I don't the media would touch it since it's a sensitive issue.

I mean that one about the Jews not going to work in the WTC was all over the place, but no news station, at least in the U.S. or the ones available to me from the Middle East, have claimed it's true.

I just tend to take most things said by the US govt with a grain of salt from what I've read about their dealings with Egypt during the reigns of Nasser and Sadat...and even now. They're supporting a dictator...the same label Sadam Hussein was labeled, and believe me, Mubarak isn't a much nicer guy. That along with their blind support for Israel causes me to question everything that's released by media, FBI, white house...etc.

Sorry...delving off-topic.

It's hard to hear a case with unsuspecting ears when the maker tries to fool every viewer by stretching the truth behind a hole in the wall and doctering up the front lawn of the Pentagon (look at it more closely). The conflicting sounds people heard in the sky are no surprise....I can't even tell the difference between a 757 and a tomahawk cruise missile cuz I've never even heard the latter before. The only information that makes me wonder are some of the video evidence and the fact that is was confiscated so quickly...but even that can be understandable.

As Sawg said, the evidence that the fil does not point out is crucial to this discussion. The video was successful in giving me the chills again, though..

I'm not talking about sounds or holes or anything now...the point that grabbed my attention the most is the lack of plane body portions. A 757 is large enough so that you end up with recognizable parts after impact.

A 757 flying at about 500mph or so in to the solid E-Ring of the Pentagon? Plus thousands of gallons of fuel situated in the back of the aircraft? I'm not so sure you would find any recognizable parts...any hypothesis from such an experiment?

Yeah you would...unless you have a nuclear explosion, you'll always find recognizable parts (at least to the expert eye). Parts of the planes that crashed into the WTC were found...so why not this one?

The presentation says the thing was flying at 500 mph at 20 ft high or something like that...you chose to take the 500 mph part as true, but disregarded the second part or are their other sources indicating this speed? Not that the speed would matter really in terms of what I said about the parts.

As Andy is alluding to here, remember -- the only evidence of an actual plane left in NY at 9/11 was some landing gear that popped off at skyscraper-level and mountains and mountains of paper scattered in the air and billows of flame that made out the face of Satan. ;) So you can start asking funny questions, like why didn't all that paper just burn up in the jet fuel that ran through the hallways in a big fireball?

...questions that seem plausible on the surface, if you leave things on the surface. Throw in some Dust Brothers from the soundtrack to Fight Club, a few quotes attributed to "witness testimony", and viola!... it's unfortunately not too hard to come up with these.
