Good game, I like the system even thou it misses lots of first team players, everything seems positive, but I still don't trust in this defense. Might give lots of problems in future..

sevilla look better in possession and seem to be fitter. we are really weak in the passive movement. we struggle to play the ball out of our defense without playing the long high ball. the midfielders do not run enough to give the defenders enough options to pass the ball. zebina having a good game and going past players to give us the chance to leave our own half without blasting it wide. grygera on the left is looking suspect in defense and attack.
the goal was no particular skill since amauri got the header without actually having to jump in a central position 3 metres away from goal. an amateurs mistake imo. cannavaro did use his experience a few times to dispossess the opponent at our penalty box. camoranesi injuried again, we really can not count on him. at least our formation does not actually depend on him. good that we did not buy d'agostino, because if we are to play like this he would be total useless since he cant do a one-touch-pass when no one is actually running enough to give enough passing options. sevilla play quite compact when we are in possession and in the same time do shut down us pretty early. manninger again demonstrating that he is a very good backup to gigi. del piero in the original position of diego or giovinco is looking bad and clueless ... on that position you got to have someone with pace ... was lucky a few times that he got fouled, because he just dribbled slowly with obviously no clue what to do (without the proper options to pass)
Just to add to that: Cannavaro can't pass ans seems to be too slow. We have a really good bench though. Sissoko, Diego, Melo and Giovinco:spliff:

u know...trivelas,sombreros,pedladas n all that fancy s***....However the main strengths of his showing at Juventus thus far have been his strength and aerial prowess which are not exactly hallmarks of a Brazilian forward...
Its because of all this Joga Bonito and Nike ads stuff lately. Anyone who expects him to do all that fancy stuff is an idiot anyway, he does what he does very well.

spot on..

we are clueless how to get the ball out of our half.. and sevilia are also doing good to push us, while we just wait for them to come to our half...

marchisio is doing good

and i don't think that tiago is doing good.. not at all

Bit dissappointed about DP and Marchisio isn't as dominant as he can be either. Oh.. and then there's Cannavaro, who seems to even get the most basic stuff wrong, making some very very amateuristic mistakes. Painful to watch sometimes.

On a more positive note: Zebina is looking lively and fit, I hope he can continue to grow into the season. Tiago, even though sometimes just too casual on his passing, has the vision and seems to do well for us.

I'd like to see a list of your most complete strikers in Europe..perhaps the top 5?
Complete as he got everything from technique, strenght, finishing and header and there's no way he's a decent player. If he's Brazilian people should not expect to see the old Ronaldinho and not all Brazilian forwards are like that...as I said, Adriano.

Zebina and Tiago are great today!!! and TBH i don't like to see Del piero as a starter next season and am truly sorry for that but that's my opinion!!! and still our defence isn't that good hope the best for our team.....

i guess that makes me an idiot anyway:rolleyes:

call it what u will, but the truth is higher technical standards are expected of brazilian footballers ...the same way athleticism, energy and strength are associated with african players... might be stereotyping, but c'est la vie
