Dybala on playing trequartista "It's a role that I've already played in Argentina, I like it. I drop back to help the team & assist/score."

Dybala on his right-foot "I try to improve it in training, Allegri crosses & I shoot, but for now it's less goals & more broken windows."

Dumb EPL fans on twitter arguing Martial & Wellbeck are better than Dybala:
Their "arguments"
-"Dybala was playing in the second division of Argentina & Italy at age of 19/20/21. Martial starting for United, France, won Golden boy"
- "Martial is stronger, faster, taller, better leap, better dribbler than Dybala. Better hold up play, link up play. Dybala better playmaker."
-"Martial main man for the biggest club in England at 20, Dybala was stat padding in Serie B at that age "
-"Unreal racism how is Dybala better than Martial smh"
-"Imagine Martial, if he lost his pace, power, dribbling, aerial ability and strength. You get Dybala."
-"Dybala is a good player but not a great striker. Learn the difference. Welbeck is a better centre forward than Dybala not even joking"
-"Welbeck has much more clutch moments than Dybala, also a much superior player, Dybala is only better at finishing"
-"Dybala and Martial stand alone in terms of young STs (Don't @ me about Dybala being "WAY" better, it's Serie A...)."

Makes you want to slap someone.
Welbeck in the same sentence with Dybala :sergio:

What he fuck have Welbeck done until now to be even mentioned? The guy is another brainless tree out there, how dumb you have to be to even try to make a comparison there :sergio:

Sanchez and Aguero are both at a higher level (currently), but both are older and much more injury prone too. I wouldn't take any other SS/ST over him from that league.
Over him no way, but Kane for example has been extremely impressive too, Lukaku is in amazing form, & Martial is extremely promising (though currently a level below those).

Again, I rate Dybala slightly higher than all of those, but it's not like the EPL doesn't have some great young strikers either.

I can sort of understand them hyping up Martial, even if he's a bit hit and miss in a garbage attacking side, but Danny fucking Welbeck?

I love how they talk down scoring in Serie A, when Jamie Vardy goes on an 11 game scoring streak and games regularly finish with 7 goals. Top kek lids.

Welbeck
I was more comparing Dybala with SS/False 9s llike Sanchez :D

But yeah Lukaku and Kane are two strong CFs but I don't think either of them would be anywhere as prolific in Serie A.

Martials goals and effectiveness have sort of dried up though lately? He's got a decent career ahead of him but I don't think he's anywhere near as good as some Yanited fans think he is. It was an absolutely absurd amount they spent on him too.

To be fair, it would be really hard for anyone to score in LVG's setup.

Dybala 'not thinking about leaving’
By Football Italia staff

Paulo Dybala reassures Juventus fans that 'I’m not thinking about Barcelona’ but says: 'I’d be happy to be just a little like Lionel Messi’.

Barca scouts and directors have reportedly been in Turin to watch Dybala and his teammate Paul Pogba with their eye on a summer bid.

The Argentine striker was also labelled 'the new Messi’ by Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini yesterday, but he has distanced himself from the comparisons.

“The fans shouldn’t be worried about the Barcelona scouts, I’m happy here, I only arrived six months ago and I’m not thinking about leaving,” Dybala told Corriere dello Sport.

“I’m happier than ever now with what I’m doing, I feel like I used to at Palermo.

“Do I feel like the new Messi? I always try to be myself and to develop every day through dedication and work.

“There are very few players who get to Messi’s level. For everything that he’s done, he’s difficult to get near.

“But one always tries to do well for their team and that’s what I try to do with every match.

“I haven’t met Leo yet, when I was called up for the national team he wasn’t there. It’ll be difficult to become like Messi, I’d be happy just to be a little bit like him.

“In Argentina they tell me that I remind them of Sergio Aguero with my movement.”
Dybala 'enjoying Higuain duel’
By Football Italia staff

Paulo Dybala is 'enjoying the duel with Napoli and Gonzalo Higuain’, but doesn't believe it’s a two-horse race for the Scudetto.

The Juventus striker’s compatriot leads the Serie A scoring charts with an impressive 21 goals in 21 games this season for the Partenopei.

Dybala spoke of his admiration for Higuain, but warns that with 17 matches to play there is still everything to play for.

“The duel with Napoli and Higuain? I enjoy it because Gonzalo is an Argentine forward like me,” Dybala said to Corriere dello Sport.

“I admired him when I went to the national team, I’m aware of what he can do and of what he is doing.

“He’s very strong, he showed that at Real Madrid as well by winning many trophies and he’s showing it now at Napoli. I’m happy that he’s scoring, hopefully he doesn’t do it against us…

“Are we friends? Yes, we spoke a little on Saturday evening, I wished him the best but told him that when they come here….

“Do I envy some of Higuain’s qualities? Maybe his right foot….he turns and shoots, this would be something to learn from him.

“Two-horse Scudetto race? No, I think both Inter and Fiorentina are still in the running. There are 17 matches left to play.

“This defeat will be hard for Roma, but I think they’re a strong team and never say never.”
Dybala 'didn’t expect this form’
By Football Italia staff

Paulo Dybala admits he 'didn’t expect to score so many goals’ for Juventus, but keeps his season target at 15 strikes.

The 22-year-old has been a sensation since his summer arrival from Palermo, scoring 12 goals and creating eight assists so far this season.

Despite his impressive start, the Argentine admitted that his right foot needs improving.

“Did I expect to have scored so many by now? To tell the truth no, I didn’t even think I would play this much either because I knew that coming to a team with so many strong forwards wouldn’t be at all easy,” he said to Corriere dello Sport.

“But I came here with my head down to learn and listen to the advice of my teammates and improve.

“Should I rethink my target of 15 goals? No, I said it before, that always remains the objective. We’re still second in the table, we can’t get big-headed because we haven’t won anything yet.

“The goal against Roma was difficult because I was in a tight position and didn’t have many options. I tried to strike the ball as quickly as possible and lucky I was quicker than the goalkeeper.

“It’s true that Allegri tells me I must improve with my right foot. He always tells me in training, but I always go with my left.

“I do specific work on it: shoot on the volley from a cross. One with the right and one with the left.”
:hihi:
