@Post Ironic, how many of our goals is he involved in? is it 11 out of 22 now? I recall you saying 9 out of 20 before, dont recall if it was before or after Palermo game (if sturaro and zaza goals counted into overall).

He has 7 goals - 3 assists in Serie A, so 10 of 22. But adding the own goal to that would be 11 of 22. The player that takes the shot on an own goal like that should really get an assist. There's no way to quantify that he caused that otherwise. :(

I really want to see him break his duck in CL next week.

Oh ok, that doesnt matter if it doesnt counts as official assist, I said involved, and he defenitely was, goal happend because of him. So 50% of our goals for a kid that was written off quickly by some here.

CL should suit him, plenty more countering opportunities there...

I know alot of casual fans who say hmmm, who whenever I mention him weekly (know name but not how ridicolous talent he is, cuz Serie A hurr durr lol). Cant wait til he does this in CL and make them lose their shit (one of them was hyped to see him dribble Yaya :p):

The own goal was a cross so unfair to relate dybala with that goal
Should have been given an assist, as his cross caused the ball to be turned in. Same deal if his cross gets to Mandzu.

That last one is amazing. As was the one against Sassuolo for that matter. Exceptionally talented with the ball. It's nice to see him keeping that aspect to his game even as he gains a little bit more muscle here.

His winning the ball and basically putting Zaza through to score against Sevilla should have been an assist too. It deflected off Sevilla player slightly into Zaza's path, but it was going into his path anyways. Silly rules.

His dummy also allowed Pogba the space to score against Torino. So you could say 12 of 22 goals in Serie A. :D

Dybala relishing new role
By Football Italia staff

Paulo Dybala is relishing his new tactical role for Juventus after his stunning goal to beat Lazio 2-0.

La Joya netted with a flick and volley after his shot was deflected by Santiago Gentiletti.

“We’ve won five in a row and that means we’ve rediscovered the right attitude,” Dybala told Mediaset Premium.

“I am happy to have contributed to these victories and helped bring confidence back. The squad is fantastic and you can see how united we are from the little things.”

Dybala was asked how he compared to Carlos Tevez, who had a similar goal tally at this stage of his first season at Juve.

“He won so much and I hope to follow in his footsteps, but any comparison can only be made at the end of the season.

“I was a trequartista in the youth academy in Argentina, but in Italy I always played as a striker. Now the Coach asks me to play a little deeper and support the centre-forward.

“It’s great for me, because Mario Mandzukic, Alvaro Morata and Simone Zaza work really hard and even get quite a few knocks to create space and favour my runs.

“The Coach has always put his faith in me. He regularly gives advice and teaches me so much. I listen because I want to improve more every day.”
