I expect much more in a prior game from him cause of the extra offensive freedom he gets cause cheesio has his back ibstead o f pirlo+ allegri grants more freedom
He was terrible in the first half and nothing special in the second up until the assist.

Don't forget that he had to break 10 players tonight. And at that he did his job perfectly. Some of his passes were brilliant and the way he carried our attacks were WC.

I just checked and I see he was given a high rating on a couple of sites too.

In the first half Milan were not as packed and there was actually space behind their midfield trio. The only time we used that space was Marchisio hitting the woodwork. Pogba didn't do anything in the first half. He was the real casper and this is coming from a great Pogba fan. I also dislike Marchisio and you already know it.

The whole match I was thinking to myself how this should be a game where Pogba shows his class. Even when class players have rough matches they should always have the ability to deliver something from nothing at the end. And he did it.

:agree: I really don't know how people are saying he was man of the match. I haven't really liked his performances so far this season.
His first half seemed dictated by instructions to play deep and defend. He was mostly anonymous, and I thought he was having a poor match.

The second half, he made lots of runs forward and got involved in the play in counterattacks and running at the Milan backline to cause all sorts of headaches. And besides the assist, what I particularly liked about his performance was winning balls in one-on-one challenges on the ground. He pick-pocketed Milan dribblers numerous times and sent the squad pivoting in the other direction.

Easy MoM pick for me as I said a few pages back in the match thread. So suck it.
