Do you belive our defence will be good for the next year with those players?This year was amazing especially thuram and Canna but remember what happened with Montero.In 2003 was great and in 2004 was shit.

I think that the solution exist,but I think that it is not kovac.
I have the biggest confidence in Italian defenders,hope one of them will come.
I think that Cannavaro was definitely our season saver,because he is so confident in defence as noone else I know.Fantastic player is Canna.
Anyway the most certainly one of these guys will come to reinforce our defence,according to speculations:

-Gabriel Milito
-Pablo Ibanez
-Chiellini
-Parisi
or maybe Puyol

Its not an urgent need for a big defender next year since
canna and thuram are world class they now know each others play
and esp for the defence the best thing is to keep the same receipe and dont make changes all the time,
because the new ones need some time to adapt and there is a risk to outbalance the team.
thuram isnt that older than maldini and cafu so stay cool,
he can play next year world class for sure,
we surely need a subtitute,not that the defenders got accidentations so easy but they do get suspended,
Kovac will replace ferrara,
chiellini pessotto,
barzagli iuliano etc etc.
We cant affort to keep a world class defender on the bench for a couple of years,
new faces will come in and if they will proove their value,
they might remain in the team and eventualy replace the old ones.
We are a big team,italian we are bazed on the defence,
if someone's needs to be replaced we will bring in someone else world class,
big defenders are the kind of players juve buys without hesitation when needed,we didnt raised canna and thuram we just bought them when they were needed, we cant affort to risk a younger to our defence, let other teams prepare them, let them make the first fatal mistakes on them and we can have em when they are ready.
I remember last year when the need for a great defender was so big and the money were so little,
everybody were so DESPERATE to buy mexes and ferrari,
NO!!!
we are juve, let the other teams, like roma, risk to get relegated,
we are world class, when they will be ready and if we need them we will buy them then,
just like we did with canna.
A player like mexes would rot to our bench,
underperformed when used,
then a mistake would probably benched him for good,
instead of a prooved-player like thuram and maybe end up like legro.
Not playing games would stop his evolution as a player and his morale.
U cant use the rotation sustem to the defence because it will never become solid.
So what bench canna or thuram?
My point is we have good enough starters, we just need a player for the bench(unless if we buy a world class RB to replace zebina and make us a better team,but we have other priorities-people to replace this year)
An exp(and free) player like kovac(but a litle more talented) is the perfect solution for this year and a very wise loaned,semi-owned system like the chiellini deal is the best solution to buy good material ,tasted,prooved easy and in a good price(anyway defenders are the cheapest players around,thats why we afford to buy them)
