I'm sure we will see a different lineup against Romania, no matter what the Don is saying now. Let's also remember that a couple of players had a really really bad day, so don't put ALL your blame on Donadoni.

The press conference was a downright scandal. First off Donadoni criticised Buffon for having apologised to the Italians. I think it was the only just thing Buffon could do and it's insane of Donadoni to criticise him. He then went on to say that, to him, the formation wasn't wrong. He loses 3-0, with the champions of the world, and thinks he didn't do a bad job. To make things even worse he says that he might change something in the next game.

Roberto Donadoni confesses that he expected a harsh reaction from the media after last night’s 3-0 defeat against Holland.
Italy are now in a precarious position in the so-called Group of Death after being stunned in Berne.
Several newspapers hit out at Donadoni after the final whistle and today’s Tuttosport headline read: “Give us back Lippi.”
“Honestly I expected that reaction,” Don admitted. “I’m not bitter. There were some harsh headlines and obviously the general reaction wasn’t flowers and roses.
“It certainly wasn’t a positive game, but it needs to be analysed all the same.
“We have two big games left. It’s a shame that we suffered this terrible defeat but it has given us still greater desire to give everything to rise again.
“Something needs to change before the Romania game, but we also need to see what physical condition the squad is in.”
Italy started training late today and there was further bad news as Marco Materazzi had to pull out with a calf injury.

I think Donadoni is brain dead, he sound like he knows something is wrong but just cant figure it out when everyone else seems to know that its his dumbass team selection and tactics that is clearly that 'something'. What an idiot, im glad i dont have to put up with him as a national coach even though Crapatoni aint much better lol.

UNACCEPTABLE
As I said before this game, MaterazCRAP and Barzagimmeabreak combination will NEVER work...they both suck way too badly, and Canna wasnt there to cover for their mistakes....neither one of their asses should be touching anything but the bench, or a seat in the stands for the rest of the tournament
Starting Ambro, a player that should not have even been selected for this squad over De Rossi, is another example of the incompetence shown by our coach, Mister DONEadoni. Not to mention the timing of the substitutions during the match
I've said it for 2 years now...DONEadoni doesnt have the experience or the intelligence to be running the Azzurri, and we will be THE major embarassment of this tournament...
Hopefully, Lippi will come back after we go 0-3 in Euro 2008, and bring a sense of leadership and pride back to our team...something thats surely missing now

Donadoni should be more ashamed than Buffon was. If it wasn't for Buffon, it would have been a total blowout. Such an idiot coach, unbelievable.
Losing Cannavaro was a blow, but had Donadoni played more capable defenders, it would not appear so lethal. Playing Legrottaglie and Chiellini would have been way more effective than Materazzi and Barzagli, let alone some of the other options Donadoni could have had at his disposal.
