Believe me. It's pained me for years to see so many pieces at the Portugal NT without an effective finisher. It's the bane of that team's existence. And unfortunately, it's not turning out that Almeida is the solution either.

So I keep hoping for the likes of Vaz Té, etc...
We'll see, Hugo is still young and he does pretty well in the Bundesliga.

Given my comments about Diego in the Hamsik transfer thread lately, you might guess that I am not particularly enthused by the prospects of high-performing Portuguese speakers in the Bundesliga these days. :toast:

This is such bullshit, Portugal was playing so good in the first half and then two lucky goals by Italy and they decide to check out.
