We have to remain positive. We played like shit, and the dutch deserved to thrash us. Materazzi should be shot and pissed on, barzagli is a steaming pile of dog shit, ambrosini is an old retarded goat, and panucci sucks monkey balls. I'm glad donadoni went for experience because it really paid off today. Not starting chiellni, grosso, de rossi, and even DP cost us today. Please, for the love of god, start the players who deserve to play.

Typical, a Lebanese saying "we" when talking about Italy. And people question why I have this campaign against the Azzurri :inter:
Id like it more if you didnt label me as a "lebanese" as if we were scum. You also dont know me personally, my 2 brothers and sister have italian passports and are married to italians and they live there.

I can say "we" as much as I want.

Oh my, alot of DP fanbois in here I can tell. Yeah he played well, but don't glorify his performance either, it's easy looking good when you come into such a bad team at such a bad point in the game.

I agree with you morra, also we were too predictable in our game plan, donadonis descisions were really poor and were not bold at all, if anything DP should have been on the field for the start of the second half

Italy were simply outclassed...credit to the Dutch, especially Sneijder...I don't believe Italy played badly, Holland was simply too much for them today

Toni didn't properly function. Give him a chance? We need no risks.
So out of your Cassano - Del Piero partnership, who's going to be the player to bang in all the crosses? Del Piero is usually not in there to goal poach and Cassano is always on the perimeter of the box. Who is going to connect to the Camoranesi and Grosso crosses?

All your goals come from crosses, so who is going to meet them? I think abandoning Toni would be a HUGE mistake.

I'd really like to see this formation for the next match:

Buffon

Zambrotta - Matrix/Barzagli - Chiellini - Grosso

Aquilani - Pirlo - De Rossi

Camo - Toni - Del Piero

I put Matrix/Barzagli there because I couldn't think of anyone else.

Using "we" would mean that you're Italian, which you aren't.

You're Lebanese, and so is Jack.

im not a Donadoni hater but i am utterly disappointed with his choice of tactics today. Could have been a different result, an offside goal went against us and we dropped our heads which then let them score their second in quick succession. With the introduction of Del Piero, then Cassano things looked more lively and we were stringing some passes together gettin behind the Dutch defense, Grosso also impressed me. IMO our worst performers tonight were Toni and Materazzi.Had Pirlo scored from the free kick with 10 mins to go we would of had a game on our hands. We pushed forward and the Dutch found another goal. Credit to Van Basten and his men, deserved winners on the night.

My opinion for the next game..

---------------Buffon
Zamb--Barzagli--Chiellini--Grosso

----------------Pirlo

Camo-------Cassano----Gattuso

--------Del Piero---Toni

or put De Rossi in Cassano's position and push Cassano up front to form a killer partnership with DP!
