And people still wish he was at Juve
Good riddance if you ask me, this is precisely why I prefer Paratici, at least for the large parts hes rejuvenating this team, average age already down from 29 to 27 this summer. Meanwhile marotta is stacking a bunch of cheap old band aid players, half of whom on big wages and literally useless, except hakimi

You think he'd be signing Kolarov if he was here? Romano clearly says Conte wants him
If he was at Juve, I'm confident he would have already cashed in on Demiral then call it "the will of the player" and then sign someone like T.Silva or Vertonghen. And yes if Kolarov was available for cheap, he would have signed him and called it a "market opportunity".

You realize we sold Cancelo and Spinazzola last summer which left us with MDS and Danilo as our only backups? Sold Can but kept Khedira and Matuidi. Sold Kean and kept Higuain. Think before you write

Kean was in his last year od his contract and we couldn't agree terms so he had to go or risk losing him for free
Cancelo had to go for financial and technical reasons
Can wasnt even considered by sarri, good sale on him
Matuidi is gone
Khedira is going
Won't even spin off the names weve brought in since January

There thought about it. Conclusion done

Kean earns 3M at Everton, same as Rugani here. You sure about that?
What financial reasons, and what about Spinazzola?
Sarri is not here anymore, why sell players based on his whims?
Matuidi is gone for free a year too late, we made a loss as well. Sami is 2 years late in terms of sale
Try harder

Let your man bring in just one good fullback before you speak.

Not one bit more humble. Not even after his man has gotten a grown up on his side to hold his hand.
The main issue is this silly notion that one man is responsible for all the mercato things at Juve, so you have this stupid argument of Paratici did this, Marotta would do that, and vice versa. But even in that way of thinking, "Marotta built" 2 different CL finalist teams, while the other one is yet to build one. If you know that, and you're a lord Paratici all the way, Marotta sucks kinda guy, you should abandon your argument

Why do you think we had to sell our more attractive assets? Did you stop to think that we were in financial trouble because of all the oldies we signed on high wages and nobody in their right mind was interested in them. Who the hell is going to pay for Khedira, Matuidi and Higuain? We can't even get another club to take them on for free. We have to pay them to leave. That's how unattractive they are to other clubs. You may rate them so highly for whatever reason but nobody wants them. Period.

Ronaldo has pretty much paid for himself. Remove jersey sales aside (and we sold alot of jerseys) and just look at the new commercial deals we renegotiated since Ronaldo signed. I put together this table a few months ago to calculate how much extra revenue we were getting since Ronaldo signed. I'm not saying CR7 is 100% responsible for the increase but we now had huge leverage when we came to the negotiating table

We're talking an increase of 117m per year. Ronaldo will cost us 100m+ 60mx4 = ~ 340m. These deals are locked in for a long time. Also I messed up the General Advertising. the 87m and 109m should be flipped.

That's our issue in 2020. What about the previous summers. We had offers for them before, why did they remain for so long? Also, these 3 are not the reason we sell our young assets each summer. Maybe Higuain only, but the other 2 definitely not

Marotta left in October of 2018. September 2018 he renewed a 31 year old Khedira at 6m euros for 3+1 optional year. Khedira had no leverage so no idea why he was kept at the same salary and given such a long extension.

The only full mercato we had without Marrota was last summer and our hands were tied by Higuain and Khedira finances. Also when did we ever have offers for those 3?

Unlike you, I'm not attributing certain deals to one person. Marotta was part of Juve in 2018, but so were Paratici and Nedved. Do you think he could have extended Khedira on his own? We picked up Matuidis option last season instead of letting his contract run out, resulting in a (small) loss for us. We extended Bonucci and Rugani, what leverage did those 2 have? They are currently way overpaid and very hard to get rid off. These things happened with Marotta gone, so what's the excuse there?

Khedira and Matuidi could have been sold for pocket change and we would have avoided losses on both, back when they still were useful and held value. We stuck with them and had to sell others instead, others that would still be holding value today and would have been way easier to sell than those 2. Can most notably. Higuain was a terrible deal from the start, then we 'got rid' of him in a terrible manner as well (taking back Bonucci, giving away Caldara, failing to make it permanent), and again 6 months later failing to make it permanent when his daddy sarri brought him to Chelsea.

So yeah, we are in a pretty bad situation thanks to our policy, but if you try to blame Marotta for all that, you haven't been paying attention to what we're doing

We made a loss on Mandzukic same way as we did with Matuidi iirc? He was on small wages and his book value wasn't that high, could have easily sold him last summer if we didn't want him anymore. Or keep him for rotation. But no, let's release him 3 months into the season instead because our stand in retarded coach doesent like him
