Played trequartista for Utd most of the time.

I do wonder if he would have got this move if there hadn't been so much hype around him. Attach a Messi-related nickname to a players and suddenly he's worthy of attention.

Doesn't matter than he couldn't get involved in games at all when playing against us.
I know a scout that has been raving about him.

Its been clear for a long time that he has unbeleiveble ability with his feet.

getting involved in games, imposing himself and making the right decisons are things that no 18 year old have, and need the right education to bring these out of them.

Hence him making this move, and not to a kick & rush league in the Prem.

Good luck to him, but I think we will see quite alot of this lad.

Definitely hurt to see a youth product like Kroos leave and he is only 24 but these things happen in football. Fortunately Bayern have a lot of cover in the midfield so its not a huge loss but losing a talent like Kroos is never easy. Just like when Ballack left we will move on.

Bet loosing Muller would hurt more. :p

I'd much rather Cole than Evra... Evra looks really washed up when playing in the WC.
I think Evra is the one of them that still seems to have the pace and energy to try and play the way they did in their prime.

Cole seems to have had to retreat just focusing on defending rather than getting up and down the flank the whole game.

I thought two years ago Evra was looking pretty much done, but he looked much stronger and more athletic for Man Utd last season than he had for a while.

I think Robertson is the bigger talent at Utd and you lot are the ones who seem to be linked with him the most.
