It could be worse, could be in mother Russia where a rock group of young girls get 3 years jail, for '' blasphemy'' after protesting against papa bear Putin in front of a cathedral.

We used to. We are currently in a transitional phase. I'm sure we shall be back to owning Africa in a few years, but the problem lies in qualifying for the WC. That is indeed our holy grail. We've won the African Cup of Nations a record number of times, but it's always those fuckers Tunisia or Algeria that kill our WC hopes. I  Morocco though. They are classy, and always play with style, unlike the dirty Tunisians, and particularly the Algerians :D

Morocco have a pretty impressive pool of talent, but they have always notoriously failed hard as a unit. Its a shame, as imo they are the most entertaining and talented team in Africa. I wouldn't say they have a better squad than Ghana or Ivory Coast, but in terms of raw talent and skill, no team comes close to Morocco in Africa.

That being said, when it comes to teams playing as a unit, I personally would say the Egyptian team 2006-2012 is one of the best African teams i've seen in a while. The team comprising Zidan, Abo Trika, Gomaa, A.Hassan, Abdel-Rabou, Fathi and co, is for me the best Arab team in history, and one of the best African teams ever. I will never forget how they beat Ivory Coast, with Drogba and co time and time again, even destroying them 4-0(?) once.

However, I wouldn't call them the best Arab team in history, even though their accomplishments definitely deserve more than a mention :D We did destroy both Cameroon and the Ivory Coast, but we were also rather fortunate against Senegal and the Ivorians on a couple of occasions as well ;)
