The mods run the site. The mods have voted. It was unanimous.
He doesn't have to be given shit. He was "permanently" banned multiple times, each time being let back after a long spell of begging through various channels, promising he'd change. He didn't.
And yes, banning you was mooted. I knocked the idea on the head, but keep bringing Seven up and you'll be very short of defenders among the mods the next time you're in trouble.
