Habs fan.

Yes the Red wings put on a performance and then some but they battled like hell and if I'm not mistaken the goals came from their third line ... the first from what I heard was shut down pretty well...could be wrong.
Iginla is not a fighter...he is physical and was locked down but is almost unmatchable in the corners..watch Hatcher get burned once and start to slip. This will not be an easy series and Detriot's age..Chelios for Gods SAKE! may hurt them. Physical game plus o.t. after o.t. is not kind ot the vets.
See, the good thing about the Red Wings is that if one line like the Hull-Datsyuk-Zetterberg line does not have anything going, Coach Lewis has the energy line of Maltby-Draper-Yzerman to put out on the ice. This line is basically a counter-attacking line that plays against the other team's Best Attacking line. The speed of Maltby and Draper and the skills of Stevy Y cause problems for lines that only like to attack, like the Iginla line. The three differenet dimensions of the top 3 Red Wings Lines can cause any team problems.

Another bad thing for NON-Wings fans is that the Power Play is back! That was dumbest thing for Calgary to do, taking all those bad penalties at the end, thus giving my team the chance to re-ignite their power play. So now the power play is in sinc and ready to go.

For what Hatcher lacks in pace, he surely makes up in overall skill and brute force. He was still recovering from the injury last series against Nashville, and he is starting to get faster. IMO Nashville is a faster team than the Flamers, but the later has more physical power. But with Hatcher, Fischer, Chelios, and Schnieder, the Wings certainly have power as well.

I predict that the Wings will close this series down in four games, if not sweep from here out. After a bad game, the Wings always rebound, and start playing hard until the end. So there is not gonna be another disaster like last season against the Mighty F*cks. The Great Yzerman won't let it happen, and he wants to raise the cup one more time.

I rather have the Habs win, but its not gonna happen; they are a one line team. Philadelphia vs. Tampa Bay is a great East Conference Final! I would rather have the Wings play the Flyers right now.

Vinman I have friends going to...

I may be there too as I may be back home in the summer.

P.S. What are the chances the Italians are making the trip? (Totti, Cassano, Panucci and who ever else goes to play in Euro)
Nick,

if you come to Toronto, definetly let me know !! We'll have to meet up....

I hope that Totti and company show up... You have to figure that this is almost like a vacation for them too..

I'm also HOPING that Vieri goes to Roma. I'd love to meet that guy if he comes to Toronto

Pado I will never understand your fascination with that "acqua sporca" you call coffee.

Sergio: Nor will I understand an Italian mortgage broker wearing Sean John!

And I can't understand an American who lives in Rome who couldn't get a piece of ass even if it was left to him in a will.

Then again, you are a Milanista. :D

I, FurioBianconero, being of sound mind and body, do hereby make as my last will and testament:

I leave to Nick Incubo a large piece of my ass, upon my death. The remainder shall revert to Pippo Inzaghi.

When J.Lo and Emma Mac are unavailable . . . When the Juventina upstairs hates you . . . Fred and Ethel are always at the ready - bent over, grabbing their ankles, buns thrust high in the air, as if to say: "Hello, Nick. C'mon in".

That's alright, Nick. I'm sure you have booty coming out of your ears.
