To change topic (just a bit !!), I just bought tickets to the Roma/Celtic game in Toronto on July 31

I'll be hangin' with my Toronto Juventini friends at the Skydome...

Can you actually see me cheering Roma ??????
Vinman I have friends going to...

I may be there too as I may be back home in the summer.

P.S. What are the chances the Italians are making the trip? (Totti, Cassano, Panucci and who ever else goes to play in Euro)

Nick, it's not just shoes, it's everything! But, you have to admit, without the right shoes there is no sense in even getting dressed.

Sergio, I am so sorry -- I dropped the keys to executive washroom in the toilet. I guess the President of the W.B.T.Y.A. is going to have to duck behind the building and urinate into a balloon.
True True but back home 99% of the population consider "Nike" or "Payless Dress shoes" as the right pair. I hope your part of the 1%. Personally I like Bruno Magli, Valleverde but the pocket book only allows for Geox (still very good). On the other hand if I had the liquid assets of Mr. X. (Not impressed with your research skills "Bruce Willis").

    Sergio: I hear you.

Nick, my 2 friends who are over there in Iraq, Jacques "Jacques-itch" Dextradeur, and Brian "Boo" Matson are great great guys, and as I sit here and think about them, a great memory comes to mind, and I'll share it with you because you are a Canadiens fan.

This was a little over 3 years ago, aroudn St. Patrick's Day in 2001, and myself, my wife, my friend Jacques, who is a Habs fan, and Brian, who's a Bruins fan, went with a bunch of people to Montreal to watch a Habs-Bruins match at what was known as the Moslon Centre at the time, and right near the entrance, right under the banner of Rocket Richard, there is a a video booth, where fans can go in and express their sentiments about the Canadiens, and the best ones would get shown on the video screen.

Well, we were watching the other people do it, and they were very polite, and saying stuff like Go Habs and stuff like that. Well, the three of us, who were pretty blitzed to begin with, all crammed into this booth and went nuts in there, jumping up and down, screaming yelling, licking the camera lens. Well, all the people who were around just stopped, there must have been about 500 of them, and were just laughing like crazy. Apparently, we knocked the booth off its moorings, and when we came out,we got a loud ovation.

It was a great time, and as I'm typing this, I'm laughing and crying at the same time, because they are great friends.

I miss my friends, and I want them to come home safely.

Here are my weapons of choice as far as clothing are concerned.

The vast majority of my clothes come from either Express for Men, Banana Republic, and Sean John.

As far as suits are concerned, since I don't have to wear any, I only have 2, but they are both Sean John suits, and they are absolutely gorgeous.

Shoes: as far as casual or dress casual are concerned, they range from Doc Martins, Skechers, Lugz, and Adidas. Dress Shoes, since I am looking for comfort and really can't spend 400.00 on a pair, I usually go with Aldo. Great, stylish shoes in the 100-120 dollar price range.

Great casual/dress shoe: The Doc Martin white/black wingtip. Very Sharp.

People say that "time is money". Crap! I say "aggravation is money". In a bid to save time today, I went a got coffee at Port City Java because it is right next to the courthouse (whereas a trip to Dunkin' Donuts would have taken 30 minutes). Well, I saved time, but the coffee was poor, I burned my hand on the crappy paper cup (DD uses heat-resistant foam), and I spilled a bit on my Donna Karan suit thanks to the illdesigned lid. Mutha Fuccka!!!

This is a mistake that I will not repeat in the future.

Yes, but Sergio, you don't seem to care about my level of aggravation. You are being emotionally unavailable - are you sure that we're not married.

This has been brought to by Psycho Babble, Inc. :blah::blah::blah:

    Sergio: Great story.

I'm about to run out the door to a bar across town to catch the Habs game live..I'm already late. Some Americans and Canadians hang out there mostly yuppies like Padovano who order bottled water and make faces at those who light up the smokes.
Quickly...I too have a friend in Iraq from New Rochelle "Mike"...Mikey. Much like you I have recently been thinking about stories of him. Like the time when we were 13 and the night before Halloween when we were throwing eggs at cars he had to one up everyone and threw an egg at a patrolling cop car (crazy bastard!)

Pado: the mug shot was Bruce Cutler. The late Johnny Boy's lawyer.

    Where is Paul these days??

P.S. Sergio: I thought only gangsta wanna be's and Vanilla Icers wore SEAN JOHN..AI'T!!!

Pado: How are those tight ass Sergio Valente jeans you cheap bastard.

Always able to cut through the unimportant crap, and stick to things that matter. The history of this thread is, well, history. It is there for all to see and remember. But we have evolved past that, and onto fashion design and shoes. Thank you for noticing Nina, Fabi, and future posters.

Here's to brother Nick, the founder of the feast.
Yes fashion design and shoes are very important. I wanted to study fashion design and then make a degree on shoe design, but the situation here made me chose chemical engenieering instead.

A friend of mine is going to Milan - Man United in NJ (Id go too but I cant), and I already told him that if he has the opportunity to kill a Milan player he has to do it for me

Good idea Fabiana...maybe then you will actually beat us in a real game. :cheesy: :cheesy:

Sergio: What a stinker the game was. Since when is that primadonna LeCavalier good for doing anything but walking red carpet on movie premieres?
Highlight of the night: Souray knocking out the Tampa player.

I was watching the hockey down at the Havana Club, and thinking that I wanted Montreal to win, only because Sergio and Nick - as I have no dog in that fight. Then I come home to find my dear friend has called me a "cheap bastard".

"Cheap" is one thing I am NOT. Anyway, the Romeo y Julieta was first rate, the beer was second rate, and the hockey game not so good.

Heads up guineas, it's best of seven.

BRUCE CUTLER! Yes, it all becomes clear. Thanks for that.

Nick, I forsee a major problem in this series.

Tampa Bay is faster than us. Whereas Montreal was able to use their speed as an advantage against Boston, Tampa is not only faster, but they are more skilled as well.

Wave after Wave of speed and skill. Add the Buhlin wall to that, and you've got a long series ahead of you, figuratively speaking.

Literally speaking, you might be looking at 6 games if Montreal is lucky. I don't like what I saw ou there, but I wil still kepp the faith. Montreal was out-shot on its own power plays by the tampa penalty killing unit.

Well, at least the NFL draft is today.

2 and a half hours until the 2004 NFL Draft.

Oh, the Drama. What will San Diego do wih the first pick? Will they select Eli Manning? Will they trade that pick to the New York Giants? Will Eli Manning even show up at Madison Square Garden to wear the San Diego jersey if he is selected by them? How will our beloved 49ers screw up this draft this time? Did I get enough Nachos and Cheese to last for 7 hours?

All this and more, starting at 12:00 on ESPN

Prediction: Montreal wins the next game. Theo becomes a wall.

Padovano: What type of club is this "Havana" club? Members only?

P.S. Don't forget: Boston 3-0 ...the first game last series.

Theo played pretty damn well last night. Those first two goals were definitely not his fault.

Did you get my E-Mail by any chance?

P.S. Don't forget this, Tampa is a better team than Boston.

    Draft starts in 40 minutes.
