It's come to the point where we all know that our chances of winning matches rest almost solely on the performances of Del Piero. When he's playing well and on his game, running around like he was 23 again, the team usually wins. But if he isn't seeing enough of the ball, we either draw or lose. It's particularly frightening to see this side rely so much on a 33 year-old, knowing that Alex won't be able to keep this up all season long. And as we have already seen, our side is stumbling at the moment.

But then again, Ranieri seems to have his heart set on the straight 4-4-2, so Giovinco would probably be used out left like Palladino.
