What is this bullshit I'm reading about Totti? I say we burn him. The guy bitched for a whole year because he wanted to get some attention and in the end he decides to quit? Fuck him.

Juventus to win the scudetto BTW.

    Kevin,

I asked the cafone to give you this book so you could finish it. Balki the Albanian came in a while ago but I knew anyway. I keep getting tireder and tireder. Listen, I don't mind getting hit by the piss now. It's worth it. It's worth seeing Interisti covered in piss.

Their lives are much more miserable than mine, they have more misery and pain. Some of their parents came by to thank me for spraying them with piss and I know it was worth it. Tell Sergio and Vin it's worth it. I'm just going to miss the ballons.

I've been thinking about it, and that poem, that guy that wrote it, he means you're gold when you're a kid, like green. When you're a kid everything's new, dwan. It's just when you get used to everything that it's day. Like the way you dig humping shoes, Kevin or the way Sergio digs Bacon or Seven digs men . That's gold. Keep that way, it's a good way to be. I want you to tell Andy to look at a shoe. He'll probably think you're crazy, but ask for me. I don't think he's ever really humped a real shoe. And don't be so bugged over being a greaser. You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want even if its a North Ridge Alumni. There's still lots of good in the world. Tell Vinnie. I don't think he knows. Your buddy, Grease Ball Guido

P.S. Stay Gold Kevin Stay Gold

an update on this years Italian Festival here in Buffalo, NY...which is the second largest in the USA next to New York City

I spent last Saturday and Sunday there, and noticed a few ppl wearing Italian NT jerseys, 1 wearing a Milan jersey, and 1 Juve jersey (not including mine)

I had one person walk by me and shout "Juve" when he saw my jersey :pint:

comparing this to the past few years, there is a definite increase in Italian soccer's popularity here...and the even better news is that NO ONE wore an Inter shirt :p ....

as with every year of this festivals existance, I ended up with powdered sugar on my shirt from the cannoli and fried dough :D

More than 500 illnesses reported after Taste

    Tribune staff report

    3:21 PM CDT, July 16, 2007

More than 500 people have reported digestive problems after eating at the Pars Cove Persian Cuisine booth at Taste of Chicago, Health Department officials said this afternoon.

As of noon today, 529 people had called claiming symptoms of salmonella poisoning, according to a news release.

Fifty cases have been confirmed as salmonellosis. Of the 50, 36 have been identified as salmonella heidelberg, one of the more common forms of salmonella poisoning in the United States, the release said.

    Seventeen people have been hospitalized.

Officials said the pace of reported illnesses has slowed since they first went public with the outbreak last week and encouraged anyone with symptoms to report them.

As of Saturday, there were 491 reported cases.

Officials said last week they had determined that at least one—and perhaps the only—source of the bacterial poisoning was a dish of hummus with herbs, tomato and cucumber and ordered Pars Cove to stop serving hummus while a full investigation proceeds.

Officials have also cautioned that the outbreak may not be as widespread as it seems, as symptoms cannot be tied to salmonella without laboratory testing.
Now why wasn't the Olive Garden invited?! :(

Maybe they're waiting for a special invitation to the Bowel Evacuation of Chicago
    ....

I agree Vincenzo, there is definitely an increase in popularity or more important viewership. Despite what many in Italy think, its not only because the teams are Italian that an Italian overseas will get into it...at times it is the grand parents or great grand parents that came over years ago...many guys here grew up watching baseball, football, b-ball and hockey..we are bombarded by ESPN updates 18 times a day with over 10 sports all with almost equal billing...in Italy its 90% Serie A ..the rest is Serie B and other sports...it will take time and to be honest it will NEVER get to the point that they want it to...MLS is not up to par to Europe in any way and its not truly what the game could be....if people fall in love with it ..it is because of World Cups, Italian teams, Premier, Bundis..whatever..

Andy, watched some u-20 games on the tube...I was impressed with our boys and not just Freddy..we have guys with balls out there notably Rogers (sp?), Zizzo and Altimore...your thoughts?

We have a very talented U-20 side... if it wasn't for the water-logged pitch against Austria a week ago we would have easily owned those cunts. But unfortunately our skillful side could not handle the Austian midfield and defense with so much water on the pitch, and of course I wanted to break some windows after that.

People think Freddy will never make it in Europe, but I beg to differ... give him a side where the ball is played on the ground such as those in La Liga and he will be able to take on players with his skillful manuevers on the ground. If he signs for a Premier League side he will be wasted, for sure. He has talent... even I saw that but he just needs to get bigger and sign for the right side. Obviously he has talent and he even looked better than PATO this tournament.

Rogers was very good down the left-flank and what impressed me was his eagerness to take on players... we don't have many kids that have the balls to take on some of the best young players in the world, so he looks promising as fuck. Sal Zizzo was sick against Poland and Brazil where he mad several assists, but he went missing against Uruguay and Austria. However, he has the speed to make it at the highest level, that's for sure... he out-ran defenders while he had the ball like a race horse racing Paolo Maldini.

But my favorite player on the side is Michael Bradley... he never made even one mistake during the tournament and always played well. He's Bob Bradley's son, the new manager of the US NT, and he plays for Heerenveen. Bradley is in my opinion our best talent as he never sets a foot wrong in midfield and has the technique of Yoann Gourcuff.

What this U-20 side has is cohesion. They've known each other for years and this is very promising for the future. If our Nation's soccer federation is doing anything right, it's keeping the same core of youngsters together for quite a while. It just may pay off in the end.

But as for my comments... I'll tell you what. I don't think I have ever been so damn excited and hopeful for our nation's side, barring the match against Germany in 2002. So that sort of tells you something about the U-20's.
