Yeah I agree, 100%. There's something to prove, and it makes you feel more ecstatic when they win. Maybe it's because every game means something this time.
There are a few upsides I really didn't quite anticipate:
  • seeing more Juve games on RAI than when they were in A
  • an apparently better bonding (stadium, loyalty, otherwise) between Juve players and fans
  • lack of prima donna players you have to put up with in the squad
  • a certain badge of defiance relative to the other clubs that pretty much "got off" for calciopoli -- where Juve is now paying the price in the fashion of a more 'honest' club than anyone else involved right now; combined with the news in the Inter/Telecom Italia camp that's proving who the real criminals are that are/have been trying to get away with stuff

When I'm out in my Juve jacket now, it takes on a stronger and better meaning now that it didn't have prior. It's the sort of thing that has made me want to get a new jersey with a "Serie B TIM" toppa for the sleeve just to underscore the point. What was designed to be a point of shame has honestly become a point of pride for me.

I'm enjoying it too, it's a change of pace. Serie B is interesting, and Serie A is a mess right now anyway (Lazio and Fiorentina are still on minus points). The last two years under Capello were successful, but very rigid. And I certainly feel pleased about not having a couple of individuals in Zlatan and Vieira around anymore, whom I never liked in the first place.

That man enjoys that banana just a little too much for what I am comfortable with watching.
He speaks to my heart, Greg. I love bananas, it's my highest consumption of any fruit. Although I don't pontificate that fact.

What worries me is that he's basing a very large portion of his theory on the banana. But what if, by a strange coincidence, I should pick up another piece of fruit which just happens to be in my fridge also, like a mango. It isn't perfectly proportioned for the mouth , I would love to hear his conclusions on the matter. Did God intend for us to peel it with a knife? Or should we eat it whole? Once you peel it, the inside of a mango is very slippery, what wisdom can we draw from this? In contrast, the banane has a "non-slip surface" (notice how he doesn't use the term friction).

I am enjoying Serie B more than Serie A right now.....it seems more passionate (maybe just because Juve are in it)

As far as seeing more games, well...I didnt miss any last season thanks to GolTV, but I havent missed a game either this season, only thanks to someone putting the torrents in the Multimedia section...otherwise it would only be the home games

As far as the more "honest" club tag, well, I dont believe any Italian clubs are 100% honest, and I seriously ever doubt we'll get any more respect from fans of other teams for "serving" our punishment

I wouldn't go so far to say that we're a 100% honest club per se. ;)

But with Juve being the lone club in Serie B out of all this, that fact is sort of reminder that they are also paying for the sins of many other clubs. And maybe that doesn't earn any respect from the rest of calcio, but it does in my book -- and that counts for something.

Vinman, I was checking and reading some stuff at Xtratime, and I read couple of your posts in some Inter pages. Believe me you're dealing with some Idiot cunts, you cant prove your point to an Idiot. You're tiring yourself buddy.

Inter fan= an empty pocket with empty head

We're too class to put our level down to theirs.

Cafu was labeled finished by Roma when we bought him and he was a pillar in our scudetto win and CL 'adventures'
Pirlo was deemed useless by Bresica, Reggina and Inter: he went on to win the CL, Scudetto and World Cup
Seedorf was swapped for Coco .. everyone called us CRAZY ... Coco was playing for Livorno last season...struggling to start
Pippo Inzaghi was regarded as finished after he failed to score over 10 goals in a season for Juve....scudetto and CL league record later :pint:
I wasn't implying that dinho is finished! That would be just downright stupid. I said he is eyeing a Milan move, and perhaps thats why his performance dropped with Barca. TBH I would like that move a lot, and would be first in line to congratulate you and all the REAL milanista out there, not the gold-diggers who will come along with Ronnie.

Who are these Bears?!?!

I've been watching them for over 30 years and have never seen them with a decent quarterback for more than a handful of consecutive games...

He was opportunistic and a good nut case for the pitch. But he was not your go-to guy for third and long.
I can remember some great third and longs from Jimmy...he did have his share of injuries which affected his abilities...but he wasnt too bad for a guy with only one good eye

bottom line is the guy was a winner !!!:agree:
