Fox is all about soundbites...in the interview they try to corner Slick Willie with terms like 'weakness' and 'lack of strength' more than once but don't give him a chance to respond....Clinton was proactive to the threat which for many was pointless and the Bush adminstration was reactive only after 9/11...obviously people see the Bush response as much more severe and wide than Clinton's but in reality the threat was much more subtle if non-existent when Clinton was in power. I don't think Clinton is the Saint they make him out to be but I do think as he stated he is unjustly criticized when in fact Bush only woke up when it was too late.

the 9-11 reports said that Clinton was never direct with the CIA in what he wanted done about Bin Laden (I've read them)....it surely never said that Clinton was trying to assassinate Bin Laden, like he stated last night

The truth, whether you like it or not, is that Clinton dropped the ball with Bin Laden (as he even said last night), and its true...he did get the closest to getting him...but failed the US by telling the Sudanese to let him go
