Shadowfax. - Respected all over and really more than a moderator.

Zlatan. - Average/usual poster. Covers the entire forum and matches 60% of the forum. Could also put Andy in this position also.

Jaecole/Nicole. - The non-juventus fans (You really need to look at them during the season. In the summer they are a bit off )

Swag. - On topic only. Hates the offtopic bullshit and would want a more juventus based juventuz.

Azzurri7. - A member for Liliana and Gino Genesios (wait maybe it isnt Azzurri7, am I thinking of someone else? Whatever.)

That is very good to hear. If posters would vote for themselves on who they would like to see become moderators, it would just become a popularity contest without much thought behind it. The owner should pick his own mods because he knows what he wants and is not involved in any "cliques" that could kill the validity of the vote, as Emma would say.

Do not give Muscle a moderator title as a sympathy vote, he hasnt deserved it and is only known because he was so public in trying to buy the site, before that he wasnt noticed.

I know that is a nice and fair variety of members you have there, however there are a couple I do not approve of. I am afraid Nicole would be a terrible choice for moderator, and that's not just because she's a Romanista.

The only members I would approve of out of your list are:

Swag (Greg)- He could perhaps be the best moderator in the world. Greg is candidate #1 as far as I'm concerned.

Incubo (Nick) would be a good choice if he isn't too harsh on some of the average posters on the board.

Shadowfax (Paul) is a very opinionated person however I think he would be a decent moderator (I think).


Not that our opinions matter much, considering Martin II probably has his list decided already.

PS- I think you're opinion of me Emma is a little bit skewed, but that's fine with me.

I think her thinking is not based on how good a 'mod' job they would do. Considering she already belittled the moderator job. At the end of the day anyone can close a thread and they are only usually closed on request. A monkey could close 90% of the threads.

And actually, I kinda agree with that thinking at least in theory.

Actually, Martin I actually seriously considered me for mod once. Then he got to know me better, and we all know how that story finished

No your missing the point.

The moderator is not chosen based on how he can close a thread. A moderator dosent need to be a fence sitter. Moderators should represent the community and actually have a purpose.

Graham can close all the threads himself anyway.

Yeah, I see her point. A mod for every group of users, to ensure evryone gets treated fairly, or that all the mods arent from one group and hence arent unfair to other groups.

Basically, we'd be representatives of the group, insuring fair treatement fpor all.

Thanks for the mention, Emma but even if I was offered a second chance to buy this place now, I wouldn't..let alone be a moderator. If I moderated here, I'd just be selling myself out. I'm not a whore nor do I need a job that doesn't pay.
As for buying it, I was really up for that but Martin I made his decision and it didn't include me at the helm. I'm a sore loser. The sorest, but I'm not going to retreat with my tail between my legs; I'm going to stick around here for as long as this place lasts and laugh at the unfortunate..because that's what Muscle does best. I'd prefer Pete by the way. :groan:
