I actually think we do. Khedira isnt getting younger and has injury problems + at times bad games. Marchisio is struggling with injury problems the last couple of years, that leaves you with Pjanic and bunch of bench warmer like Lemina, Sturaro, Asamoah who are not good enough.

I rate Matic very, very highly. I don't rate many Serbian players, but I love him as a player ever since U-21 tournament when I moaned how we should sign him just to see Benfica get him.

Not only I rate him but I think he'd be great next to Pjanic.

Still, if I were to pick I'd play Pjanic - Marchisio - Matic and it would be a hell of a midfield. He'd work in a 2 man midfield too, though.

I don't think we're gonna sign him sadly.

Matic will be our Vidal. Basically chelsea will tell their manure rivals to fuck off and sell him to us. Similar to how leverkussen did the same to bayern.

Irony is quite few pundits have it he's keen on moving to united; just like Vidal was keen to move to bayern before he finally ended up there. Though that said matic is 28, so I think we're safe.
