Need Help ASAP!!! (2 Viewers)

guys, i had a very serious problem with my computer and i restarted it. and now i have windows 2000 installed..i wanna install windows XP professional, but i don't know if i should choose UPGRADE or NEW Installation.

Some say that upgrade isn't good to install...so what do you think?

and i also have a scanner program which works in win 2000, maybe and in windows XP. i ahven't found that program on the internet for the windows XP..


but when i did the XP UPGRADE installation from windows 2000 after i installed that program in win 2000, it worked.

So what's your problem? Sounds like it's working fine

Your scanner prog will work in XP if it worked in Windows 2000. If not, you can just download new drivers for it.

no but some people say that it's better to do new installation because upgrade from win 2000 to win xp isn't good for pc...but i'll do it
