I've been away from the life of electronics and (dare I say) cars as well. My knowledge have gone down to minmun (still have got my touch though). Thats said, I have no-clue whats new and whats not.

I will be in the market for a PALM with a built in mobile phone.

A PALM alone won't do the trick since I need it to connect to the internet (so I needs to have a built in mobile). And I do not want an iMATE because it is PC Pocket based.

Any suggestions? If prices are also mentioned I'd be more than thankful.

Experiences are more than welcomed here.

Thanks.

the thing is that your only option is the treo. the 650 i m noto sure it works as a modem to connect whereas the 700w has windows and the 700p is only available for cdma only (so no gsm) as of now.

Ok if I was to consider pocket PCs as well, which ones do you guys recommend?

Which is better a Pocket PC or a PALM? Which is more reliable?

Taking into consideration both have GSM (so no comparision between things that does not have a GSM option).

    Thanks.

I have the Treo 650, which has the Palm OS. It's kind of a de facto standard around where I work, etc. The equipment is decent... just that the audio quality (without a mic/earpiece) is a touch weak and a bit depends on your carrier (which is true with any phone, really).

The Treo 700 is out with Windows only. But I believe there's a plan for a Treo 700 with the Palm OS ... though the GSM piece has to be a no-brainer for somebody in marketing.

    You da man.

God, when are people going to finally realize CDMA is the mobile phone equivalent of the Sony mini-disc?

    Thanks...
I will take all opinions into consideration.
I am in for a pda with phone capabilities, so the Nokia's are not an option.
