Pavel Nedved has admitted that he would love to score the goal that won the Scudetto for Juventus.

The Czech midfielder has suffered with injuries this season but it was his late goal against Lazio on Sunday that kept Juventus level at the top of Serie A with Milan.

"I'd like scoring the goal for the title ," Nedved told La Stampa.

"It would be really important. I'm really keen on it .

"I'd like to score that goal for the team .

"It would be a way to apologise, due to the fact frequently I haven't been able to play as I'd have liked to ."

The 32-year-old has been struggling with a knee injury that has hampered him throughout the season but Nedved will not let his injury stand in the way of success this season.

"The knee is swollen like a melon, but now I don't stop ," he concluded

What a Hero :angel::touched:

I don't know why I have a bad feeling about these talks, they remind of Pavel wanting to win the CL

what means swollen?
getting bigger

like you know in the cartoons, when someone hits their thumb with a hammer, and it gets bigger and turns red?

That's swollen ;)

good explanation Grey..maybe you can explain gravity using Road Runner cartoons as examples:D

as for Nedved, I hope he does win us the scudetto. Wouldn't it be great for him to end his career with a scudetto winning goal in the last minute from 35 yards out and then annoucing his retirement. would sad but really fitting to the end of his great career.

OR he could hang around as scheduled, win us the champions league + serie a with his winning goals, then retire as planned. since thats very likely to happen :D
