Turkey's first Islamist prime minister, Necmettin Erbakan, has died at the age of 85, one of his aides has said.

Mr Erbakan served only a year as prime minister before he was forced to stand down in 1997 by Turkey's staunchly secular military.

His Islamist Welfare Party was banned in 1998, while Mr Erbakan was barred from politics for five years for violating the constitution.

The governing AK Party, which has Islamist roots, grew out of Welfare.

He was a great character that affected the politics for his country, and made Turkey come back to its natural position in the Middle East after it lost the compass for decades.

RIP

May Allah have mercy on him.

Ironically, today is anniversary of infamous ''28 February post-modern coup d'etat''. He was overthrown by sionist generals after a theatrical activity about Al-Quds. After marching tanks on street and starting to opress Muslims who are also called niggers of Turkiye, they said ''If it's necessary, it will last 1000 years.'' Between 97 and 2002 were dark days. Economically, country nearly came to an end and people lost their hope. After one of Erbakan's students, Erdogan come to power, we have become 16th biggest economy in the world and second emerging economy after China. Elhamdulillah, we are strong enough to defend rights of our brothers in far lands. Where are the blood suckers now? Their vile ideoloy is verge of destruction.
