from what I’ve seen it’s not entirely clear that’s the case. a lot of angry white people mashing things up out there

SLC is two percent black and we are shut down til Monday over this stuff
From the videos Ive seen, most of the looters are black. The rioters are a mix of black and whites.

Here's the new America. Congratulations everyone.

They would need to have theft and vandalism insurance, but even if they do the insurance company will probably figure out a way to only pay a portion of the damages.
I'm guessing it's a commonly purchased thing then in urban areas if it covers theft. It's not even worth it to try to defend a store then. Figured, insurance in general is a scam.

I don't see how this situation is going to get any better any time soon. It's impossible to guard every business in every city across the country, even if you deploy the military. If you deploy the military then people will surely get killed, and that will only escalate the situation. Likewise, you can't give them (the protestors, rioters, BLM, whatever the fuck they are) what they want, because whatever it is, it will never be enough and they'll only continue to use rioting as a tactic. And all of this is in the middle of a pandemic.

If it takes electing Joe Biden, a guy who thinks blacks aren't blacks if they don't vote for him (which is basically calling them SLAVES!), then just go ahead and rig the election and appease the masses. I'll pay a reparation tax out of the income tax and others will too, then the Treasury can direct deposit it into the same accounts for the Covid payment, but just make sure the folks getting it are actually black, or halfies, not someone who thinks they're black but are actually white. And then once Covid is figured out, they can start shipping DNA tests to everyone and prorate the reparation payment based on the percentage of blackness. Then maybe we can forget about the race thing.

is there violence/ rioting in SLC or just protests?
Not like the bigger cities. But enough to call in the national guard and lock the city down until Monday. Protests were mostly peaceful during the day. Not much looting but a lot of damage to government stuff by tagging. I guess the police got bored so they came out around 5:00pm and shit apparently went off the chains.

I live like 4 blocks from the main area of the protests so its been interesting.

Strange how police presence at anti police demonstrations tends to set things off.

striking right at the perfect time with Covid. This isn't going to end soon is it?

Maybe not the BLM motivated protests in particular but the civil unrest.

The media (and their favorite president) will continue to pour gas on the fire for their own perceived benefit.

Once the national guard comes in, it's effectively over in that area. You can't win against that.

That's what the cops in the inner city have to deal with day in and day out
I've been to USA twice, and probably I don't know the situation well there , i lived for 2 weeks in Brooklyn (Bushwick) nearby some projects , and to be honest i was shocked how bad bushwick was , I never imagined usa like that , yeah Manhatan was great awesome, so I never walked in their shoes and won't judge them , but what the fuck is the point to steal and do stuff like that , if someone would do something like this to my shop my blood would boil, I'm sure they don't give a f about that guy who was murdered by the police .

Same about LA , that city is overrated i have no idea why people like it so much .

I do remember walking in LA with my friend when a women (looked like homeless) said to us :

Fucking white rich douchbags .

Lol , I might be douchbag but to bad I'm not rich , and what's more odd she was white herself lol .

Scottsdale,Phoenix i really liked them though , they were really clean calm and beautiful.

I worked one year in Calumet highschool (the school mentioned in ride slow song and where kanye went) in the South side of Chicago and I have been to many third world countries and the latter don't even come close. I would have to write a book to describe how surreal that experience was.
