However my friend is into that and he told me huge majority of people who love the comic don't rate the movie at all. But all that put aside... my view as a guy who watches the movie for the first time without knowing anything: it's a total disaster of a movie. I don't even want to exaggerate here, nor bash just for the sake it, it's obviously just my already shapen opinion. I literally kept waiting for 2h and 20 minutes for this movie to becoming something. And it didn't. I don't know how many movies I watched overall but I do know I watched a lot more than 600 (not bragging, people here have seen way way more). But this movie is literally one of the worst movies that I've ever seen. I even gave it a 1/10 which is quite incredible cause I've seen plenty of dumb movies, but not many managed to drive me out of my skin while watching. Shortly just a total waste of time. One of the worst punishment would be if somebody made me watch it again. I never cried while watching a movie. But I know I would if I tried it again. No offense seriously, just my opinion of it. I know many people like it.

Holy Grail & Life of Brian are the obvious ones.

After that, depends on whether you like the humour. The TV show consists of a few non-continious sketches, is pretty much hit-or-miss for me.
