With David Beckham making the decision to end his career with the LA Galaxy in the United States, we ask the question - who's next?

The Major Soccer League (MLS) will undoubtedly be boosted by the arrival of Beckham, and the draw of playing in the States is now sure to be stronger for other stars of the European game looking for one final pay-off before they hang up their boots.

Previous luminaries to have made the switch to the MLS include Yourri Djorkaeff, Roberto Donadoni, Lothar Mathaeus, Hristo Stoichkov and Carlos Valderama, but who will be willing to take the plunge next?

With a host of ageing starts on the verge of calling it a day across Europe, there are a wealth of candidates to join Beckham.

How about Pavel Nedved? Teddy Sheringham? Perhaps a shock return out of retirement for Zidedine Zidane? The entire Milan back line?

The 250m thing is bullshit. It cant be true. You could buy half of the entire Serie A player with that kind of money. Even if its true, Their managment is fucking stupid to agree with this move, instead they could easily create the best team in the world, or even the best freakin league. This is just so fucking dumb.

With all this crazy money from US, I bet Figo is regretting his decision to sign for Al-Itihad so soon...

Meaning it would maybe have lured Figo to the States instead of your place ;)
A real far one for me ....sorry

About Figo, there are rumors that Figo didn't really sign, and that there was only verbal agreement. I don't know about the legality of it, I mean could a player future sign for another club. He is contracted with Inter, could he sign for Ittihad before he becomes free in July??

PS: If you notice the pictures, Figo wasn't really holding the Itti jersey, Mansoor (Ittihad president) was holding in front of him.
