The powerful and experienced central defender Sol Campbell is hoping to make a comeback shortly, but it remains to be seen how quickly he can find form after an ankle injury that's kept him out of the team for almost two months. Prior to that, he suffered poor form, and was given a leave of absence. Arsene Wenger is now waiting on the outcome of Campbell's first action since the 1st of February, in Monday's reserve match against Charlton. Should all go well , the 31-year-old centre-half could be back in the Arsenal squad for Saturday's trip to Portsmouth and then the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Juventus on March 28.
