Category: General

As Juventus prepare for the first leg of their Champions' League duel with Arsenal, there is mixed news from that club's medical staff. The powerful and experienced central defender Sol Campbell is hoping to make a comeback shortly, but it remains to be seen how quickly he can find form after an ankle injury that's kept him out of the team for almost two months. Prior to that, he suffered poor form, and was given a leave of absence. Arsene Wenger is now waiting on the outcome of Campbell's first action since the 1st of February, in Monday's reserve match against Charlton. Should all go well , the 31-year-old centre-half could be back in the Arsenal squad for Saturday's trip to Portsmouth and then the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Juventus on March 28.

His fellow England defender Ashley Cole looks like he needs around another 10 days rehabilitation before he is ready for start full training again following an ankle injury.

Wenger also has concerns over striker Robin van Persie, who is yet to fully recover from a broken toe, and Jose Antonio Reyes who is struggling with a hamstring problem.

Source: football365.com

Van Persie is back from injury, he came on as a sub on Sat and he is playing in the reserves tonight.

Sol played full 90 last week in a specially arranged friendly, and he's playing again tonight.

Cole could make the 2nd leg.

Reyes will be fit for the 1st leg.

That's about it for us.

How's your injury list?

Our boys have to prove it to ourselves and to the rest of the world that they are the team to beat. Lets start with Arsenal. And show them what kind of metal we're made of.
