As long as someone is contributing up front to assist the lone striker like Marchisio did against Parma and Milan or Lichtsteiner did in the Parma match also. I don't know if they took it upon themselves to do it or its a tactic of Conte's but its very useful and unpredictable giving defenses one more attacker to unexpectedly mark.
