Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue has emerged as a transfer target for Italian giants - AC Milan and Juventus, according to skysports.com.

The 24-year-old Ivory Coast international, who plays at right- full-back and in a advanced role of late for the north-Londoners, is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations and does not want to be distracted with the transfer talk.

"I didn't want to talk about that. What I can say is that many big clubs spoke to Arsenal about a transfer in the January transfer window," he told skysports.com.

"But for me, it is Arsenal for the moment. I did not put a transfer request in. I like Arsenal. However, you never know [what might happen]," he added.

I'm a big fan of Eboue..i think he is very talented..as long as he sorts his attitude out..i'm sure he will become a big player for us..i hope Wenger keeps hold of him..Losing Diarra is enough.

    Eboue reveals Italy offers
Milan and Juventus keen on right-back

Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue has told skysports.com that both Milan and Juventus have enquired about securing his services.

The 24-year-old full-back, who is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations representing Ivory Coast, joined The Gunners from Beveren in 2005.

Eboue has regularly featured in Arsene Wenger's side since his switch, tallying 54 starts to date.

Wenger originally utilised the Ivorian at right-back, however the arrival of Bacary Sagna has seen Eboue move up into right-midfield.

    Transfer

And speaking before Ivory Coast's Group D fixture against Benin, Eboue has revealed that a number of 'big clubs' have approached Arsenal about signing him in the January transfer window.

"I didn't want to talk about that. What I can say is that many big clubs spoke to Arsenal about a transfer in the January transfer window," he told skysports.com.

However, he insists he is content to stay at Emirates Stadium for the time being.

"But for me, it is Arsenal for the moment. I did not put a transfer request in. I like Arsenal. However, you never know [what might happen]," he concluded.

My fear is that he's fed up of having to be played out of position..its a known fact that Eboue doesnt like to play in midfield and he'd rather play as wingback..Milan and Juventus might give him the chance..i dont see Arsene putting him ahead of Sagna anytime soon.

I have to say if this transfer would go through, it could be be a big step forward for us. I rate this guy as one of the best FB's in the world. Great stamina and very good attacking as well as defending.
There aren't many FB's who have both good attacking and defending skills.
    So go for it Juve!

I was impressed by his performance a few years ago.then he has disappeared.
Yes thats true Turk, its like i said, he has the talent but his attitude has always been an obstacle..he can be lazy and inconsistent sometimes..and sometimes he could look like he just doesnt care..but if the manager can get that sorted out..i'm positive he will be a very good player..which is why i want him to stay.
