Yeah, it def was. I'm inclined to give him a pass for now because you know we'll only downgrade from him, he's already here, Italian and he's been playing injured for most of the time.

I like De Cuyper for the left side but he won't come cheap. Tavares is very interesting too. Hope we land either one of them. With backups and emergency options in Costa, Cabal, Kelly, Savona and Weah, I think we'd be set. Most investments should be up top and probably a CB and CM (if we can offload one) anyway.

Except I didn't say he sucked (which I don't even think) so don't know what your jiggling your tits about!? I even specifically said we'll only downgrade after him.

No one will be offering 50m+ in the summer for this guy when his form dropped this much... But mercato season is the time for dreams.
