On the eve of the TIM Cup tie with Martina, the first competitive outing of the 2006/07 season, the Juventus medical staff have issued the following medical bulletin. The notice relates to Tudor, Palladino and Zebina.
Tudor: the general condition of the tibio-tarsic joint is improving. The player will therefore be able to leave the Fornaca clinic at some stage tomorrow and continue treatment at home. However, it will be a long time before the Croatian defender is able to resume training.
Palladino: carrying the after-effects of a sprain to the left ankle. The forward’s condition has improved and he has begun running again. Training will increase in intensity over the coming days.
Zebina: After undergoing surgery on the 7th of July this year, the player has resumed running work and is training under the guidance of the athletic department. The French defender will himself begin more intensive training over the next few days with a view to returning to full fitness in early September
