An excellent finisher whose contribution outside the box is poor. I'm not sure a poacher is what we need, especially when we get the best out of Ronaldo when he plays with a striker willing to do the work around him. You could argue that players like Icardi are becoming outdated in the modern game.

Add in the fact that he would use a huge chunk of our budget that is needed for midfield/defence, is disruptive to dressing rooms, comes with Wanda. The move is even less appealing.

The club has often said how it looks into the character of players before signing them. Not sure how Icardi would pass that test. If there was ever a player who fits Inter's culture it is him.
