Wall of shame reminder.

De scigilo will be a great signing and people aren't paying enough attention to it. Better than Alves defensively, and is also capable offensively. Was great under allegri and when playing with Italy. Still pretty young as well, you guys will love him soon imo

DS Haters are the same people that were Bonucci lovers....makes sense tho....deluded boys and girls......

He was about 10x better than lich and he's only been here a couple days.
:agree: some ridiculous BS is being posted about him in this thread. Licht has been finished for a long time, Mattia is definitely above him in the pecking order.
you guys make it sound like hes some Mathieu like scrub on offense, probably because youre reading too much into that 4 assists in 100 games stat.

hes a capable passer and can dribble the ball forward, and he has the stamina and speed/quickness, and defensive qualities to play his position(s) at a high level. now if he just had the right coach to give him a role in a working system so he can show it.
Absolute fave

:agree: You're all doubting him, watch :weee:

If he actually was good, shouldn't we have seen it already? A year later, you still want me to watch and wait until this TWENTY FIVE (25!!!!) year old RB suddenly becomes impressive?!

Maybe YOU watch Spinazzola! That's what a 25-year old full back should be like. The quality gap between them is beyond insane.

De sciglio was solid last year when he was available. He’s our best defensive wingback. Doesn’t offer much going forward but he knows his limitations.

There is a gap but I don't think it's that big. Spinazzola offers something going forward to compensate for his complete inadequacy defensively.

Wall of shame? He was a good signing for 16m. Showed loads of potential and was good whenever he played. Injuries held him back a little, but he was great vs Barca, Madrid (2nd leg) and against Napoli to name a few big games. Might not have been an amazing attacking RB But was very solid defensively and it was easy to see when he locked down insigne, also very calm at the back when we needed to play the ball out of the defence. You’re acting like he flopped. Cancelo is a better RB and will start for us, but de sciglio can rotate for two positions and is a very solid defender. Easily a starter on Italy with his pefmroamnces.

Spinazzola is a LB, so we can watch them both at the same time :agree:

Perfect opportunity to see the contrast between them.

Showed loads of potential? We're a team that has won Serie A 7 times in a row. We were in the CL final twice in the past four years. We have Ronaldo. A 25-year old "showing loads of potential" is great for Atalanta, Fiorentina, or Lecce maybe. Not even for depth or as a squad player is he anywhere near good enough for Juventus.

If everyone on our team was at the same level of MDS in their respective position, we'd be an absolute joke.

But a 24 year old Caldara "showing loads of potential" is great for Juve. :seven:

PS. MdS is rubbish. :p

Allegri: "I was sorry to see him go," he said in a news conference. "He is a very young professional, a very good one who, with Rugani and Romagnoli is the trio of young and strongest defenders we have in Italy. I'm sure that he will have a very good future. Unfortunately within the market we have to make some choices, and that's what happened."
Meh, what does he know though, right? Won the league a couple of times, made it to the CL final twice. Big woop.
