I believe getting 80 points in the league+beating Villareal to the CL quarters would be a job well done. Anything more, including coppa Italia, is a bonus.
Getting to 80 points is a pretty tough task. We would need ≈2,43 points per match (PPM) from our remaining games to hit that target. For comparison we've acquired 2,4 PPM during our 10 match unbeaten run and during Allegri's super successful first stint here we acquired 2,27 PPM. I think getting to 75 points is a slightly more realistic target, and anything over that would mean that we've had a really good end to our season.

75 means top four is at risk, our schedule is more favorable and I am hoping we are gelling/peaking over the next month so I expect 78-80 points tbh.

I’d like to see minimum 78 pts and matching last season. That’s 33 pts in 14 matches, which is 2.35 PPG. We had better than that over whole seasons for 4 of his 5 league titles here.

Yeah realistically we have three tough games one against Atlanta second against inter and third against lazio. So we should target atleast 11 wins out of 14 games. Anything above that will be a bonus.

11 wins out of 14 is a big ask, especially with the CL and Coppa in the mix. I don't think we are at that level yet but would be big boost for next season if we finished with that form.

Atalanta, Torino, Inter and Lazio are tough games. Plus it is likely we'll drop points at some point against a smaller team, even the most successful teams do at some point. Sassuolo and Empoli away could be tricky. Even facing relegation strugglers can become difficult at the end of a season depending on if they have chance to stay up e.g. Genoa away in week 36. Away to Fiorentina could also be tough on the final day if we need a result, even without the Vlahovic transfer they'd want to ruin our season.

Ignoring points totals we need to make sure we pick up more points than Atalanta. The good thing is they have the Europa league and Coppa too.

The game next weekend if massive, we can't afford to lose and could really do with a win for our head to head.

I believe that #Allegri will strongly push for a big regista in the summer.

weaknesses: passing. we needed a regista like that for a while. :baus:

200 cm, damn, he must have at least the vision of pirlo and xavi combined from that height. it's like watching the game from the stands.
Don't matter you speak of pirlo and chubby but main characteristic for a quality midfielder is height so when opposition punt it to your half over the bus they can head it clear. Give me a van bomby over those two everyday.

Bentancur left, but we signed [Denis] Zakaria, who is a very good footballer,” he said.
“Arthur is also improving, he played very well on Sunday, he’s like a child, always running behind the ball.
“Sometimes he has to handle himself a little bit more, but he put in a great performance against Hellas Verona. He has extraordinary technical abilities. I can pick Arthur, [Manuel] Locatelli and Denis Zakaria, it’s not easy to choose and I like it.

+++ PRESS CONFERENCE +++

Team is feeling well. We recuperated all the players except of Chiellini who's out. Bernardeschi comes back on friday and Kean who's suspended in Coppa Italia.
Bonucci will play from the start. Let's see how much playing time because he's coming back from a long stop

It's a quarter final and we have to respect it. Will also prepare us for the game vs Atalanta

I'm happy because we are still in the run for all objectives. Pay attention. Entusiasm is good but not euphoria. It's not because we won a game vs Verona that...
Our objective is to enter top 4.
Inter, Napoli and Milan are far away from us. We have to play with atalanta for that top 4 spot.
Dreaming is good (even if i don't like dreaming too much) but not more than that

The subs tomorrow will be important because it can potentially be a 120' game.
We have to make sure that this positive moments stay as long as possible. To do so, we have to continue working hard. We have to go back to normal Juve: Winning, forget the win and focus on the next game

Verona was one of the most difficult game because they run, they press. Same as Atalanta and Torino. Difficult because we play all of them one after the other.
Sunday the boys were at full disposal and did well.
We don't have the possibility to miss a game. All of the players have to put the TEAM before their own interests until the end of the season

Change: Perin in goal tomorrow.

I didn't choose the other 10 except of Bonucci that will start.

Zakaria feels well. Was just a knock

I'm really happy, Kaio Jorge could go on loan to Sassuolo to play. He prefered to stay. He's young, he's a forward player. We are all happy he stayed. I will decide if he starts or enters tomorrow

From the experience I have the most important game is the one you have to play (tomorrow) not the next one (sunday). If you start to plan and calculate then you will fail.

Cuadrado has always been a joker in this team because he can play in different positions. Depending on who's the Right Full back we will see where to play him accordingly. He's a super important player and tomorrow he wil probably start.

Now I stop giving you starters because I don't know

I never comment decisions. We go where and when they tell us to play. Sarri's comments about that? I respect him but I don't comment these decisions

Bentancur left. We took a great player (Zakaria). We are recuperating Arthur who played a great game and has a lot of skills especially when under pressure.
Deciding what position the midfielders will play is not an easy tasks at the moment. Subs will be super important

Miretti, De Winter, Soulé,... all good players that are growing fast. They have good qualities and in the U23 we have really good players in a league that is training them really well (more than in Primavera)

Morata is an important player. He has great technical skills. Players should be judged for their qualities. Now, if we judge them on the wrong things this is not ok. For 5 months he played in a position that was not his best.

Same as Rabiot, he has been seen as a player with number 10 qualities but that's not him. He's a player of quantity. He feels better without this pressure. I repeat, players should be judged on what they can do, not on what they can't do
