The problem is: we could have gone for someone like Deschamps. Some more exciting name, with more charisma and ability to motivate players. Someone who could actually bring something else to the table. It would show ambition.

But we settled for mediocricy. If Allegri get's past group stages in CL and achieves 2nd/3rd place in Serie A, people won't be that pissed, because no one expects anything from him.

He doesn't have the drive, the fire. He clearly lacks something. He won't be nowhere near the leader Conte was. And I feel this squad will feel it. This season will be a failure, and if Agnelli is smart enough to let Allegri go the season after, when we will have more revenue and also money from Pogba and Vidal sales, we will really start from zero.

I see a very disappointing season coming.

Marotta spoke of personal problems for Conte which he wouldn't disclose and Andrea in his statement yesterday also mentioned personal problems. Conte looked awful in that video yesterday too.

I wonder if it's something serious for Conte, Family? Healthy?
This is what concerns me now that I've seen both of these statements, that maybe he's really sick.

Dammit, I hope not. :sigh:

I'm curious, and I'm wondering if someone could help me out with something. Is it possible to find Allegri's starting XI during his last couple of weeks with Milan? I'm trying to get some sort of gauge as to what I am looking at here in hoping I can find some sort of positive.
Abiatti
Abate Zapata Mexes Emanuelson
Muntari Poli De De Jong Monto
Kaka
Matri

In Conte's last 2 games he used a 4-3-2-1/4-3-3 depending on how you look at it.

He led Milan to a 3-0 victory against Atalanta and then a shocking 4-3 defeat against Sassuolo which ultimately led to his sacking.
