wow  i really thought it was just rumors about allgeri last night but this really happened!! how does that make sense?....a team that wins 3 sucessive titles hires a coach that led milan to 14 place in the table?
I was going to post how Conte's record before Juve was far inferior to Allegri's now, as a bit of context. It got me reading back through his history:

In June 2009, after weeks of rumours linking Conte to the vacant managerial role at Juventus, he agreed in principle for a contract extension to keep him at Bari for the new season; however, on 23 June Bari announced to have rescinded the contract with Antonio Conte by mutual consent.
Hmmm, sounds familiar.

After a good start at the helm of the orobici, Atalanta under Conte's reign began struggling by November, leading to protests from local supporters and troubles between Conte himself and the organised ultras of the club.

On 6 January 2010, Conte was repeatedly confronted by Atalanta fans during a home game against Napoli which ended in a 0–2 loss for the nerazzurri; the matchday ended with a police intervention to avoid altercation between Conte and the Atalanta ultras. The next day, Conte tended his resignations to the club, leaving them in 19th place.
Maybe we should have predicted a more sudden parting of ways, but then we thought his love for Juve would bridge any gaps.

We have to move on now.

Marotta spoke of personal problems for Conte which he wouldn't disclose and Andrea in his statement yesterday also mentioned personal problems. Conte looked awful in that video yesterday too.

I wonder if it's something serious for Conte, Family? Healthy?

The fashion in which Conte left, no words. Hope Allegri can pull through, he seems to have learned from his Milan stint. And unlike Conte he says he expects success in Europe

It's no secret I do not approve of this signing, but he's our new coach, so best of luck. It's gonna be extremely difficult for him not to fail. I expect top 3 in Serie A and a CL than last years pathetic performance.
That's actually the only promising thing he said, since he hasn't given up in advance like Conte.

I think we'll still win the league, he won it with a much infirior AC Milan side, and he did ok with them bar last season.

Our CL performances haven't been brilliant under Conte either, and at Allegri has managed to get AC Milan to the second round each season.

Not the ideal choice, but perhaps not as bad when I come to think of it

I'm curious, and I'm wondering if someone could help me out with something. Is it possible to find Allegri's starting XI during his last couple of weeks with Milan? I'm trying to get some sort of gauge as to what I am looking at here in hoping I can find some sort of positive.

Conte, who won the Champions League as a player in 1996, added: “I won it as a player and one day I want to win it as a coach.

“But if you ask me if it’s possible to do this with Juventus, I would say no.”
