Pirlo played well IMO, he played some lovely balls
He was decent, don't get me wrong. But given the way we played, I think having Pereyra making his runs on the counter could have been very useful and maybe would have helped us control the ball rather than having to resort to a lot of long balls.

Who knows, maybe we would have missed Pirlo's tidy passing if we didn't have him.

Don't really care overall, just happy to be in the Champions League semi-final.

So many coaches in this forum. Max got it right... again.

Now he will be truly tested.
I remember a day out while at Udinese, I "joked" and told him he was destined to become a great coach, he just laughed. :D He will always get it right.

Excellent game. Ugly yes, effective, yes. But we all know effectivness > ugliness. Atleast when it comes to football.

He came to take Conte's squad after winning 3 Scudetti and doing good-bad in Europe.

People hated it. People doubted him. People laughed at the replacement.

Now we're winning another Serie A title. We're playing Coppa finals. We're playing semi finals of Champions League.

Enough said.

Bow down to this man.
