Juventus And Paris Saint-Germain Interested In Signing Sevilla's Martin Caceres
The Uruguayan stopper could be set for a move back to the Bianconeri after claiming that he would favour a return to Turin but he is also being tracked by Parisian scouts

Sevilla defender Martin Caceres is being closely monitored by Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain as a potential transfer target in January, according to L'Equipe.

It is understood that the 24-year-old would not be averse to a departure from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, and recently affirmed that a second stint with the Old Lady is in his sights after his season-long loan from Barcelona during 2009-10 was marred by fitness issues.

However, PSG have now reportedly entered the race to land Caceres, and it is believed that he forms part of the French giants' wishlist once the transfer window reopens for the winter, along with forwards Carlos Tevez and Salomon Kalou.

Scouts from Antoine Kombouare's side have followed the Uruguay international for some time, but details of any bids from both clubs remain unknown.

Caceres has made 13 appearances in all competitions for Sevilla this season, including 11 in La Liga as the Andalucians currently sit in fifth place in the table with 24 points

Sevilla's Martin Caceres: I would like to return to Juventus

The Uruguayan defender says he would like to have another chance to prove his worth in Turin after his first spell at the club was marred by fitness problems

Sevilla full-back Martin Caceres has admitted that he would like to have a second opportunity at Juventus.

The Uruguay international spent the 2009-10 season on loan at the Serie A side, making 15 appearances, including 11 starts, during an injury-plagued campaign.

Juventus decided not to use their option to sign Caceres, who went on to represent Sevilla on loan during the 2010-11 season before joining the Liga side on a permanent basis last summer.

"I would really like to put on Juventus' shirt again," he told Estadio Deportivo. "I would certainly have liked to have more chances to prove my worth while at Juventus, but that is part of football.

"I prefer not to say anything else now, but I cannot hide my wish either."

Caceres has made 11 appearances this season for Sevilla, who sit in fifth spot in the Liga standings.

I liked the way he performed in Juve. In my opinion He, and Diego could be left in squad at least for one more year. But our managment's opinion was quite opposite =(
