Question is how would they be able to afford him? Maybe they would generate some sales this summer, though who is really 'valuable' there - I have no idea.

In any case I don't feel like letting Mandzukic go for peanuts. Maybe deferred payments again, but are we certain Milan would be there to pay?

Should be our backup ST behind Higuain. Not a winger.
no, hes gone. and he was a WC winger here for ~1 year.

hes great at being both, put him at CF with wingers and hell thrive. put him on the wing and hell lock down the side and give you a focal point in attack. but it looks like hes lost his drive, so dont see him starting for clubs of our caliber much longer

Lock down a side lol - he has never done that by himself. He runs the least on the team. Has no significant tackles/interception/passrate recorded in his stats. He has a single dribble per 10 games. Thats almost less than Buffon. And Im not even talking about this season, but his last. Mandzukic is no different this season from last. Except he hasnt been saved by the rest of the team this season and his hype and playing-time lost as we now actually have above semi-decent wingers. He is alright in the box if we can load it with high balls. But he is a very expensive player to play with, if winning headers is not gonna be a game-changer for us.

Nah lets not create a stir, he is a hardworking warrior/savior and his goal against Real was pure Zlatanesque instinct and class. He could do that again and lift Milan up! Must keep.

He is horrid most of the time but on this one is spot on.

Anywyas, im pretty sure that Mandzukic is playing like he is because he simply got bored of playing winger behind Higuain.
He seems to be a very proud man and it must be disgusting to him to be in the situation he is. Also, our team lack of well, teamplay, makes our strikers look liek shid most fo the time... and if Mandzukic is not receiving chances in the area to convert, he is playing be low his standard.

But dont get fooled by his crappy season here, a spirited Mandzukic leading the line for Milan, would make them competitive in Sere A, because their strikers are truly having a shid season and soft as hell. i think their most prolific striker has 8 goals or so... thats plain wrong.
Mandzukic being the kind of man he is.. would make them win games for sure.

They need someone with personality, a no-nonsense worker striker to rise up to the task. Mandzukic is the kind of man they need.
