congratz Juventus for signing Mandzukic , I still miss him in Bayern, you wont regret this transfer, he's such a beast and fighter, even in a bad day he will always fight
he's a fantastic striker but he needs to be fed the ball. We're so used to Tevez creating his own chances, and we don't really play any wingers

I believe Mandzukic is quite the finisher and a very annoying opponent. He can do a lot of harm. To our opponents, but also to us.

Is it official we'll stick with Zaza? Wouldn't be surprised if we get rid of him or offer him for some player (Salah).
Salah isn't even owned by Fiorentina and we can't buy him and then sell him in the same window AFAIK.He's coming here as the 5th striker.

We'll have 3 CF's and 2 SS' just like last season.

I meant any player, Salah just popped in my head. But yeah, I guess that's a good point, although we can loan him out with obligation to buy.

Zaza, Mandzukic and Morata? It just... looks wrong. Why would Zaza, who's supposedly a big talent, want to come here and be our 5th striker? :boh:

Because he isn't that big a talent :boh:

Maybe he'll turn out to be a more than useful squad player for us though like Pereyra.

Llorente - Mandzukic
Matri - Zaza
Morata - Morata
Tevez - Dybala
Giovinco - Salah/Jovetic/X

Oh, don't get me wrong, I still don't rate Zaza. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

But it's pretty weird to see such a 'big talent' come here to warm our bench as 5th option. Not only 5th option but he has so many quality players ahead of him starting. And Zaza is young, such players usually skip those chances and try to play as much as possible.

Dunno, something looks fishy to me tho...

thats true, i dont think we will sign zaza with all that money we are spending around till now.

and i dont think mandzu is just for rotation, with him we got morata, dybala and mandzu, something going on.

maybe because hes a fighter and wants to challenge much more rated players for playing time at a big club rather that playing regularly for a midtable team?

also, he isnt that young and that much of a big talent either. he is 24, hes pretty much a finished product, we know what to expect from him and thats exactly what we need from a rotation player + he will get a significant pay rise, so this move makes perfect sense for both parties

15 mil for a 5th striker ?? that's a lot. Like Dule said it doesn't look right.

It's not so much as 15m so that we have a player to sit on our bench this season. I'm sure it's planned for a perspective where the club think he is a potential they would like to invest in for the long term and maybe he will develop well enough to take over from Mandzukic at the end of his contract,or someo e we can sell on after a couple of seasons. Remember playing at Juve also makes him more marketable.

Don't see how can he develop playing 5 / 6 games a season and a fe minutes here and there, ideally we would have one of Zaza or Mandzu backing Morata, my fear is that we will play 2 CF at the time wich will kill what we had this year, in term of pace, technique.....
