Guys how do you know if we're selling Vidal without any assurances about Gotze? If it was just about the sale Marotta wouldn't go to Munich, Bayern's men could come to Turin.
My point is Marotta didn't fly there just to sell Vidal, that's not how it's done. IMO we're in negotiations for Gotze that's why Vidal isn't Bayern's player yet.
Offloading Gotze for them isn't that far fetched as some might see it. They're interested in KDB and Felipe Anderson who play the same position as Gotze. We have too many CMs and they AMs so we're making a deal
This is plausible, and I'd like to believe it, but why the Draxler links and figures popping up simultaneously? I think Marrotta is working on both accounts side by side in Munich. Bayern probably being the more willing to crack a deal, and Schalke less. However, Goetze probably won't be as enamoured by the Serie A in my view, when he knows he can realistically go to the EPL or La Liga as a modern day footballer. Depends on the boxes he wants ticked personally and professionally. In that scenario, Draxler looks like a more willing target individually speaking in my view, which is why his name kind of propped up from the young German talents.

Yeah it makes loads of sense, really. Gotze and Pep don't see eye to eye because Pep is a fucking idiot at times. Bayern will almost 100% certainly end up getting KDB and Gotze really needs to move to another club because his reputation will keep on fading as will his game time
The difference between us being a high profile selling club, and a truly top team is moments like these.
Do we sell Vidal and accept rejection when we go after the buying clubs players? Or do we tell them, if you want our best players. You better be prepared to trade with yours in return.

True, that is how all big clubs operate. And importantly for our image in Europe we would be sending out the right kind of message, that we don't sell just for the sake of it, and there will be a trade off in equal measure profile wise, at least.
Really doesn't make sense to sell Vidal unless we have a replacement for the no.10 position lined up. Dont think it will be Gotze but lets hope for the best.
I thought the same, but I'd imagine the weekend needs to give us some clues because this deal will have to be wrapped up asap given that it's rumoured that Vidals medical is Monday Tuesday of next week.

Marrotta is too busy to deny anything at the moment. He hasn't even spoken about the Vidal transfer and if I remember correctly, they asked Paratici coz Marrotta wasn't perhaps available. So I'm guessing there's some stuff that's going on behind the scenes, and the club will only talk to the press once they have made their next move.
All we need now is to ask Gotze about Juventus and see if he smiles
