i agree, if pogba leaves then we get veratti

Perin
Desciglio Bonucci Chiellini(rugani) Kurzawa
Veratti Marchisio
Berardi Draxler Dybala
Morata

so italian so good
Yeah, cuz Italy are so fucking awesome rite now with the likes of Zaza, Immobile, and Pelle leading their attack :howler:

That midfield would be so underwhelming. The physicality, flair, and grinta would just drop by like 70% with the loss of Pogba and Vidal.

What about me you bastard? I thought we were buddies

They certainly did  Nice to see a few other people on here defend the great work our management has been doing over the years.
I would gladly "defend" the work if I was actually getting paid to do it  I was in favor of the Tevez trade, excited by Pogba on a free, and intrigued by the Vidal purchase, yet the collective myopia of some, and their selective short term memory is both ironic and baffling. I wasn't happy when we acquired Barza, Bonucci or Pirlo, but I admit I was wrong.

However, some people are so fucking biased and delusional, there is no point trying to be objective with them.

We shall see how things pan out once the mercato is over, but as of now, it is one big clusterfuck and hugely underwhelming.

Not the only problem.
I disagree. The guy wanted to move on and was unstable and under-performing for a year. We kept him for 4 years which is a long time in football terms and we recouped a nice sum of money from him way more than what he had cost us in both transfer fee and salary over the last 4 years. I do believe we should have gotten more out of him if he was indeed sold for 40. 10-20 mill more would keep me happy but alas whats done is done.

Management is not replacing him with an unknown young kid like staruro, they brought in a seasoned player like Khedira to fill in for Vidal. Surely he is not 2013 Vidal and will probably never reach this level but he should definitely be good enough. We replaced a big name with another big name for free and made a giant profit along the way. I'd be worried if we left his place empty.

Its a good transfer market in the sense that we bought replacements for all those who have left and are likely to reinforce even more. However, the real worry is more general. There are too much changes for my liking and too much uncertainty. The team we will see this season is completely new, with a totally new core. Conte's main players (aside from defense and Marchisio) are all gone. Hopefully the winning mentality doesnt go with them.

I am not too worried. Allegri finished 2nd with a milan who sold Ibra and Silva and had Shaarawy and Balotelli (half-season) as their best players. With Pogba, Marchisio, Dybala, Morata, and our very solid defense we should be fine.

vidal is possibly the greatstes DM Juventus has ever had. the fact that he scored a shit ton of goals and was an offesnvie power is a plus.

i dont get why people want to sell him after only 1 "bad" year. he was gaining form by end of season, and in coppa he looked to have gained his offensive power.

entertin me here, folks: if it's ok to sell a player after 1 bad year, is it ok if our players ask to leave if we have one season where we dont qualify for CL or dont win serie a?

say this season we dont win serie a, are u ok with pogba, khedira, draxler/gotze and morata to move? because if u are willing to abandon a player, dont be surpried if the players abandon u too when things go bad. and things will go bad.

No one wants to sell vidal. He wanted to leave. The reference to the bad year is not to say that he is not a good player anymore.
It is to say he needs to regain form and to do that you need to be motivated. He wasnt very motivated last year and he certainly wasn't going to be motivated this year and asked to leave. With Bayern and a with full motivation, he might get back to his best... without motivation and wanting a new challenge (or being forced to stay) it is less likely he will get back to his best.

Also no one wants Vidal to leave on bad terms with Juve.

I think we should stop mentioning the CL final, it has been yet just another disappointment and we shouldn't treat an appearance in the CL final like winning the damn trophy. :sergio:
    :sergio:

And I would love to have seen your comments about the board/Allegri if we were knocked out in the group stages last season. Now making the final is a nothing achievement, rightio then.
