this is exactly the loser mentality the former coaches got blamed for ... and now look who's talking o_O

if you do not plan to finish at least in a leage ranking that enables you to play CL and you are working for juventus, then there is something seriously wrong. so if the board thinks this way and does plan with reaching the CL, how can you ever blame them for keeping this juve-standard alive ? would you say the same to inter ? if they lost all their games they would get relegated ! why do they buy those expensive player ? these are questions that should not be on top of your mind if you aim high !

so when sanchez is so good, why did noone else buy him for cheap and why did he not even have serious offers ?

option a: udine would not sell
option b: he is not even (proven) good enough, that someone would care to get him
option c: someone with following stats is hardly a world beater that anyone would care about

sanchez stats:
2009/2010 32 games, 5 goals, 4 assists
2008/2009 32 games, 3 goals, 2 assists
2007/2008 17 games, 2 goals, 1 assist

just because he is young and small, doesn't make him maradona ... i do not need to mention that even pepe has better stats, do i ?
Woah, i didn't expect someone to fail getting my whole point.

I'm not criticizing that you got players on loan, really i couldn't care less in which way you obtain players.

The thing is sir, that i doubt you're really aiming high, i mean and let's be honest the squad looks average at best on paper, and the players you're getting are not something i would personally be proud of. Then you let go arguably your most talented player and bring in Quagliarella, who with all due respect (and i don't even rate Diego high) it's not close to Diego.

What kind of ambitions are you talking about? Well yes, they could be doing what you think they're doing, but then again maybe they aren't. CL spot is not guaranteed regardless of the players you have and if you have an average team obviously other average teams will give you a run for your money in the league, it's not really that hard to see, is it?

Pepe is a brainless player who's game consists of running, skill is something he (and your team) lacks a lot.

Sanchez was just an example, but seriously Juve could do better, i'll give you another example then, Elia.

As much as I'm no big Borriello fan, he measures up pretty well when you compare them to the forwards we have at our current disposal.
 I didn't take that way man.You are right the guy is not good but he is really better than Amauri n Iaquinta.Yeah u r right.

But i still hope he turns down the offer n Marotta signs a better player than him.

i already thought that this is the origin of the love for sanchez

and the world cup means to say he had 4 (!!!) good games ? nice ...

so if a player that does one assist in 4 games is valuated as "having good games", when is a player actually doing bad ?
Well, the FM thing was not really serious, obviously.
I don't know if you saw his games during the WC but he was actually the only one for Chili who manage to do something, had some nice dribbles.
I'm not saying we should immediately buy him, but I think he would be more usefull than Pepe...

I don't think Pepe is brainless.

I think he makes a lot of good decisions, most of them when not in possession, but his technique is so poor that it isn't always apparent.

Out of curiosity, are you a Juventus fan?

There's what, less than 24hrs. left in the transfer market? If we don't get Boriello, we are most likely not getting anyone.

i think we shouldn't have gone this much, we should have ended everything at least a week ago...what should we expect next week a result of a team against sampdoria...i mean the players seem to hae NO chemistry at ALL!!!

and you act like we actually had a choice and could actually hand pick the players we want and would get them for a reasonable fee!

Then you let go arguably your most talented player and bring in Quagliarella, who with all due respect (and i don't even rate Diego high) it's not close to Diego.
while diego might be a better trequartista then quag is a second striker it does not mean that we would have gained from diego played out of position (as second striker) more than playing quag in his position. you simply should not play someone that can't shoot as second striker. simple as that. fabio will do better than diego as second striker and think back when we had deschamps, then think back when we had ranieri ... in both cases we did not let them choose the players they wanted for their system and it backfired ... now would you rather buy fancy dribbling central attacking midfielders and tell the coach to shut up and take what he is given ? give del neri the players he needs for the system and wait a while. if we end up worse then last season, then you can blame del neri for it, but if you do not even supply the players for the coaches system you can forget it from day one, because you force a mediocre coach to tinker around with the formation, which will lead to even worse results as best possible with the mediocre coach.

they point you are making is none, simply because you fail to accept that we are not juventus pre2006, but "any club without stability playing in europa league not looking like its going to get anytime better "... and this simply prevents us to be able to buy players at solid clubs where the players know that they will play champions league the next seasons

same was said about Olic but 11 goals and 6 assists 29 part-time matches is not bad for someone who does just run and is technically crap o_O you need someone that does the running for the others that can't or wont run. you can not have 3 centre forwards that just wait for the ball.

Sanchez was just an example, but seriously Juve could do better, i'll give you another example then, Elia.
wait, wasn't we in the market for elia ? he has one bundesliga season in him and this season was not as hyper-good than diegos season and still you want us to pay more than we got for diego, for an unproven player that might struggle to adapt to serie a and even is tagged as a inconsistend player already ?

that would be more of a gamble than actually loaning 2 pepes ^^

He wants 4 million a season :howler:
Boriello, for real? Milan were talking about giving Ibra 8 million in wages, so if we compare talent and skill Boriello should be getting, 1 million a season because he's 1/8 of Ibra. That's how Juventus should calculate their payroll.
