    Juve: Marchionni going nowhere

Juventus, who will be without the injured Gigi Buffon against Cesena on Tuesday, have ruled out the January sale of Marco Marchionni.

The winger has been associated with a move to either Fiorentina and Palermo by the end of this month.

But the Old Lady, who only netted the international on a free from Parma in the summer, insist that he will see out the campaign in Serie B.

“I can say, yet again, that Marchionni will not be leaving Turin,” sporting director Alessio Secco confirmed.

“I don’t know whether Fiorentina are interested in him, but I can assure you that he will remain with us.”

Marchionni, an alternative for Mauro Camoranesi, has rarely featured given his injury problems so far this term.

Haven't read what was said b4 in this thread, but I want to say that IMHO Marchionni can still be a very good player. I don't think Juve should sell him. Perhap to loan him for a year or two and see how he develops.

Really??? I somehow thought he's much younger...
Well, in that case we might first loan him for a year and see if he comes back to himself. I still don't think we should sell him immediately.
IMO we shouldn´t loan him nor sell him, he´s our future, if he starts proving he was a good signature.
