What a coincidence abhinav, will be going to KL too! :D Except a week after the freaking race. Anyway i too wouldnt mind getting some shopping tips from ppl based in Malaysia and Singapore. Basically shopping for clothes and electronics if at all. More specifically for clothing brands like FCUK t's and maybe the Puma retro sneakers(if ne1 knows where i could get fakes) please save me the money!

I'll be travelling to Kuala Lumpur for the F1 race, and also plan to do some comp shopping. Which is the best place for computer shopping and pirated cds?:D How are the prices compared to www.pricewatch.com (American website)

if you're planning for computer and pirated cd's shopping then low yat plaza and imbi plaza is the place. i went there almost every weekdays:D
only because i live near the place:D

LETS GO TO F1 TOGETHER!!! IM SERIOUS!!! I'm planning to go for the GrandStand ticket, then after that you can go to the astro f1 party (free admission, at C2!)

I even cancelled physics tuition for f1 :D

Yes, Low Yat Plaza is a good place however for Pirated CDs - Well I dont know much bout CDs, but I always go for Pirated DVDs - the best place is Bangsar. The DVDs there are extremely cheap but high quality.

Your question regarding comp shopping is a bit difficult to answer, most likely because every mall or plazas you encounter will have computer shops - therefore you'd need to do a lot of touring to see which has the best price to offer. Last time they had something like a PC fair at the Putra World Trade Centre but I dont think it's still on.. But I guess you can start with Low Yat Plaza :)

Baggio, my fav shopping place is always KLCC, Starhill and Avenue K (its right across KLCC) - designers at its best!! But I rarely go there seeing that its far, so I always opt for another mall nearer to home - One Utama. It might have less shops in comparison, but at least its not too crowded and still remain a fun place to shop at - FCUK is there in One Utama (new wing), so are other stores like Versace, Armani Exchange etc.

But, really, KLCC, starhill and Avenue K are shopping havens.
